I think this is a good length for wearing round neck/v cut neckline clothings.
Otherwise I think 20 inch is a good choice for a bigger dressy key.

Do you think it is worth it to buy the chain from tiffany, or should look else where for cheaper versions?

Thank you, not a great pic. I should have added that I joined together both necklaces together since the DBTY is 16 in and sometimes feeling tight. I also think that it helps to attach them to help w tangles. I also get a lot of compliments on the key, esp that one.
I have two chains and alternate between the two depending on the season and clothes I wear.

for bulky sweaters and high necks I wear this 30 inch oval chain. I bought this so that I can wear my key on top of high neck sweaters and it has served its purpose! Oval chains are great since you can hook the chain in the links and make it shorter if you need to.

I have my RG Knot key on an 18" RG oval link chain. Can't stand to wear long necklaces, personally... I hate when things flop around while I walk.

I like 18 too on regular sized pendants. I would consider the 30 if I have a BIG key pendant. Oh, I ended up getting the 18 in platinum. Yes, it is expensive, but Tiffany chain is really worth the price. They are SO durable and long lasting.
Hi, what size is your Victoria key? Is it the medium size or the large size? I am thinking of buying a Victoria online because I can't try it on in person, but I don't know what size to go with.... :-\
Ignore the causal in between class backpack shot haha.... I prefer the large keys longer. This is the large atlas on a 30 inch chain, the RG olive leaf pendant is 18 inch.
Both my keys, sliver blossom and gold quaterfoil keys, I bought with 16” chains from Tiffany thinking I would wear them in lower necklines. I wound up liking them better worn long and bought 32” chains elsewhere for a lot less. The gold more than the silver sees its short chain more, but both are usually worn long.
