This is what I'm leaning toward for this use. I think I'll save the smile for the diamond version and save it for occasions. At least that's how I'm leaning. Try on needed for sure!

I have the t smile in rose gold and wear it everyday casually. It’s light and goes with everything. Doesn’t get in the way or stick to me. I’m now eyeing the solitaire or soleste pendant. I’ve tried the solitaire n it layers well with the smile. Will go to the store to try the soleste soon.Hello all -
I'm in the market for a Rose Gold Tiffany necklace as an every day piece. I'm eyeing a few but I've noticed in my research an interesting tid-bit. I've read feedback that the "fixed" design necklaces don't move as freely on the neck as something with a charm or moving part.
So my question is - what is your experience with a fixed or attached design necklace (such as the T Smile or Paloma Picasso Love) vs a charm or floating design (such as the Elsa Peretti Bean or Paloma Picasso Open Heart). Do you notice the fixed designs "stick" more and/or is it a real issue? Or does the movement of the charm style annoy in any way?
For what it's worth, I'm relocating to Texas from New England soon and anticipate hot weather year round thus I guess I'm wondering more about movement in a warmer climate. My caveat: I don't do well in heat. I get hot quickly and it takes a bit for me to cool down so I guess I'm being more sensitive than most to feeling like my jewelry is stuck to me. I also don't want to feel like I'm constantly checking the positioning of my necklace.
I'm torn between the T Smile Mini, the Floating Heart (prob 11mm) and the Graffiti Love (prob small). I need to try them on which I'll do next month but I'm wondering about real-world wear more than just looks at this point. Again, I'm looking for something comfortable and easy-breezy every day.

Thanks for this! I've also thrown the DBTY and Diamond solitaire in the mix. I reconsidered my budget as well as what I'm looking for in this piece. That said, it yet again becomes a dilemma of fixed (DBTY) or loose (solitaire) stone.
I've seen a lot of DBTY at 15"-16" stacked with the Smile at 16"-17" and it's gorgeous! I may consider this option. Thanks for the feedback!
I’m just not sold on the DBTY as the diamond encased in gold makes the diamond less shiny as light cannot penetrate from the sides n also looks smaller than a solitaire. I need to have a look at the soleste. Let’s get back with our reports when we’re done?
YES! I'll try to take some mod shots while at a Tiffany store next week. Not making a final decision until a combo birthday-anniversary trip this summer.
I agree that I'm not sold on the DBTY for the same reason. But then everyone's pics look so delicate and lovely. Going to look up the Soleste now. I'll report back late next week!
I recently got the yg t smile bracelet with the diamonds and wear it all the time! The pave diamonds are small enough that it doesn't look to dressy. It can be worn on the diamond side and flip it over to wear on the all gold side too. I find it looks great with casual clothes and dressy. I also want to mention that even if it moves it always looks great! It has become my favorite necklace
Yes and no. I think I've settled on the DBTY necklace but haven't made the purchase yet. I want to shop sizes in store. I want something a little larger than the website offers in rose gold. I'm moving near a Tiffany store in a couple months so thinking I'll make it happen around Christmas depending on selection. Thanks for asking! I'll post pics once the deed is done

I actually have the Tiffany mini smile + dbty in yellow gold and I wear them every day, stacked with another necklace from an Asian American jeweler (Ada Chen).
They’re all fixed necklaces and I feel like they’re simple but special enough that I love wearing them stacked/separately. The necklaces do tend to rotate a little, but not enough that it’s super bothersome. I’ve attached a close up pic of the three stacked, and a pic from further away where you can still see the details of the jewelry!
