Remember this is all personal preference. I’m prob biased...I have a 1.3ct classic Tiffany Setting which I am obsessed with. It’s a G color and VS1 for 23k. It looks colorless and I’m sensitive to color. The VS 1 is eye clean and even under the microscope I could barely see anything. I love the classic setting and I paired it with the Tiffany’s shared prong wedding band. My vote is for you to pair the channel set band in your photo with the classic Tiffany setting! Here is a pic of my engagement ring and wedding band to give you an idea.

This will be my 1st Tiff e-ring and so excited. However, I am having doubts with my purchase which is a 1carat internally flawless color I Tiff-setting with 2 half eternity bands (which look so good worn separately) for total $21k (photo1 finger sz 5). Our SA said best to fuse them all 3 so they don’t move all around. Then I realized all 3 will not be flushed since the knife edge main ring will stick out. So today I went to check another completely different set: a bigger diamond with just 1 half eternity band - 1.3carat main stone color I/VVS1 for additional $3k.
The main diamonds for these 2 are both insanely bright.
Please help. I have a week left to return/exchange.
Anyone here with e-rings that they absolutely love in this budget, please post! TIA

I like the first ring on your hand best, and though I love the more recent v-bands and tiara bands, I like them as "fun" pieces to add on rather than a permanent band (and so I'd look for a less expensive fun version...). I would also vote for a thin channel set diamond band as a permanent band (the wedding band) but as a full eternity rather than a half. The inevitable spinning of a half eternity would drive me nuts in the long term (though I put up with it for a occasional wear....)

You gals are super helpful
They both look lovely on you! Have you tried the first e-ring with the Tiffany Embrace diamond band?

I did not try the embrace . Need to go back asap. Wonder if they would hate me for returning the rings then taking weeks to decide on the exchange.
Is this Embrace a full or the half circle band? I prefer the half in case my finger shrinks or expands later, lol and I can still have it resized.
But it would also drive me nuts if I have to constantly adjust it. Sigh.

Wow, that 1.3 looks huge! What is your ring size and is that band eternity or half?

Don’t worry about what they think because in the end, that doesn’t matter. You deserve to be 100% satisfied. Get what makes you happy, I have the half embrace 2.2mm. I would love the full embrace but I wasn’t able to afford it at this time plus if it needs resining, I’d be stuck. The half can be annoying if it spins so if you end up going with it, just make sure that its sized well as to reduce some spinning lol!

I’m sure your SA will understand—it’s your e-ring and band after all! With the Embrace style, you have the option of full or half circle, and I believe it comes in three widths: 2.2mm, 3mm and 3.5mm. I would suggest trying them on with your e-ring to see which one you like the most. Have fun!

ITA!! These have a yellow tinge. Could be my screen, though.

Oh no. I feel I’ve done a disservice to the Tiff color I. The photos were taken at night under my warm white LED. The Ring 2 photo was taken from an optimally-lit Tiff store.
Here is Ring 1 under natural light. I am not color-sensitive but if you still see yellow then I really need an upgrade!

Btw, today My SA texted me Ring 2 in
1) 1.3 color I VvS1 for $21k and
2) a 1.1 in color G VS1 for $18k

Trying to judge stone color from a photo is generally unwise. Besides, stones are always graded face down, unmounted to look at body color and not face on. And body color has nothing to do with sparkle since that is mostly controlled by cut parameters and even a colorless stone will go dark in bright lighting because your eyes can't physically process the amount of information coming from the stone in bright light. No worries- I's are a nice zone to be in for size and budget friendliness.

I still like the classic 6 prong setting. It looks good on many many types of hands, and is easy to restyle and give little "updates" to just by changing stacking band styles as your tastes change.

As a historical note- Tiffany was the first to make the stone raised above the ring shank popular (1886) but Thomas Blecher (also American and active 1850-1890) is credited with the creation of the "Belcher" setting featuring cut away prongs out of the ring shank which was very popular in late Victorian jewelry. I have some pics of early Tiffany ads where both Belcher style and an early version of the raised basket style are being sold concurrently, but I'm guessing the Belcher fell out of favor for the raised basket version but they are both based on a similar idea...(the $50 one is ~$1K modern equivalent cost). The 6 prong Tiffany still looks similar head on- and that's a such a testament to its enduring classic styling.

Personally I would prefer a G color. I like bigger diamonds and I'm mulling over an I color now.. It was ok on its own but after it was placed next to a F color side by side the difference was very obvious.
