hey, i bought the 0.08 carat DBTY today and it's pretty! and i found out that the YG chain is darker than i thought, but the SA told me that it will become lighter when you wear it for a while and clean it using hot water. is that correct?

here are my DBTY and i also bought this silver starfish, it's super cute
the only thing is that i feel my 18k yellow gold chain is too dark, not as shining as yours.

I think it looks the same, just clean it in jewellery cleaner, maybe its been sitting for a while??

actually that's what i thought as well, but i can't be sure about it. since the SA showed me the 0.05 carat yellow gold one, and i compare the chain of it to mine, which i found out mine was little bit darker. so i guess probably it's a returned one by someone else or it's been sitting for a long time. Hopefully it doesn't matter and i will take it to store for cleaning sometime.

even if you want to do it yourself and dont have any jewellery cleaner you can use warm to hot water and dish soap and it'll clean it very well!! enjoy your new necklace
