Long-time lurker, new poster here. I've been browsing this form for some time now, moreso since I've been doing some research on my girlfriend's future engagement ring :yahoo:

Anyhow, I figured I could introduce myself. I'm a new-yet-functional fashion jewerly sales professional at Tiffany & Company in San Francisco (7 months). I pride myself in meeting my customer's desires and would love to extend my product knowledge to the wonderful forum-goers after seeing how much tPF loves their Tiffany goods!

I look forward to chatting with you all on the various forums, feel free to PM me with any questions!

:welcome2:

Hee hee, I think we all start out as lurkers.:supacool:

I've yet to own a Tiffany piece myself, as my college student budget makes it a wee bit difficult:sweatdrop: - but I know I'll be taking the plunge sooner than later!

Welcome welcome! Id luuurve to work at Tiffany (i actually work for your advertising agency ;-)) ... So are you investing in a Tiffany ring for your girlfriend? Which style? I love the Lucida ... my e-ring is 'based' on that style but ive got a princess cut.

Hi welcome! okay I have a question yesterday I fell in love with the new colored Tiffany's cocktail rings but why are they so cheap? I mean looking at them you wouldnt expect them to be just $800, especially coming from Tiffany's and so lovely looking? TIA

I realized I misspelled the name I desired when I joined: SanFranSyle instead of SanFranStyle. Perhaps I'll leave it and have a good story to tell ;)

Thanks again for the welcome. I work at 350 Post indeed Dusty Paws. Feel free to PM for contact information whenever you desire!

That's wonderful that you work for our advertising agency MJLover. Perhaps you helped with the holiday BART/MUNI station advertising we did. I recommend any locals to swing by and check it out. It's quite impressive! As far as the ring we're looking at, we both just love the Legacy ring. She likes "traditional" style rings. At one time we were considering resetting an antique ring, however we realized it'd be a much wiser (to me!) and more beautiful (to her!) choice to go with the Legacy.

As far as the price of Tiffany's new cocktail rings Leap of Faith, I suppose price is relative. Being mounted in silver instead of gold or platinum definitely helps make them more financially available as a wonderful dinner ring. Have you seen the matching pendants and earrings (cushion cut ~8mm to be exact)? We still haven't been able to keep them in our cases since the Citrine ring was shown on the catalog cover!

Hi there and welcome!! I just got this ring as a gift.. :) and would like to know what it's called since I cannot see it on the website! perhaps you could help? thanks!

(it's white gold with a purple stone which I assumed it was amethyst and it says made in france!)
