I'm all about enabling :D. If you can afford it, why not!! Be sure to post a reveal of your goodies!

I wish they had a greater selection online, I hate going to MK stores. If I walk in with a different brand bag like Kate Spade, LV, Tory Burch, or Prada, they have so much attitude. I want something in Dark Dune[emoji7] maybe a Selma or a Sutton..

Aww, they shouldn't be that way toward you! Variety is the spice of life- they should be excited to see someone who is willing to spend a little extra for a nice purse. Dark Dune is so gorgeous. You can't go wrong with Selma or Sutton. They're both very pretty in Dark Dune!

I think I might go for a Dark Dune Sutton and either the Peanut or Luggage Selma, not sure if I prefer the lighter shade as I mostly own Luggage.

Oh well, I'm not interested in their opinions to be honest, I prefer to shop online which cuts them of their commission (I'm 90% sure they're on commission). Plus they start to argue amongst themselves or speak rudely about other customers, I've seen/heard it all, it makes me wonder sometimes why I still shop there[emoji20]

I also wonder how much commission they are on. I went to a store carrying an MK bag and almost every SA came over to help me as I was clearly a target customer. I spoke with one for a while (who was really nice) and I then went away to think about my purchase. I came back and a different SA immediately came over the second I entered the store and whilst I was answering her questions about what bag style I preferred etc the original SA came over and literally talked at me over her colleague!!! I was embarrassed as I felt like I was at a tennis match, as they were either side of me and I didn't know who to answer, they were both asking me lots of questions and I didn't want to be rude to either. It actually makes me not want to go in, I like to take my time looking without 5 different SA asking me the same questions!

I am almost glad there are no MK boutiques or outlets in my area. All we have is Macy's and Nordstroms and I doubt they make a commission. I have always hated pushy sales people and is why I prefer to shop online.

I've heard them speak poorly about customers in my FP boutique. It's really a big turnoff. It makes me want to avoid them. The girls in my outlet are always so nice. :)

Same here. I went in carrying my LV, and you'd think they would want to help me, but they didn't really give me a second look. When I had my Riley they were so nice! I just don't get it. In my FP boutique the SA's are generally very nice. There are a couple that are not the greatest.

When I lived in Indiana I'd visit a certain MK outlet & the SAs were unbearable. They followed customers around the store, barely letting them look at the purses! They also commented on my Coach Phoebe & asked me if I bought Coach "outlet bags" and then proceeded to tell me what poor quality Coach bags were. Ugh.

Yep, the one boutique close to me is like this.. the other one further away doesn't seem to care, it's like HELLO this may not be my only bag and/or i maybe in there buying my first MK..

That is terrible. Who teaches these girls cs?

This had me laughing, it's EXACTLY what they do, especially when I'm carrying an MK bag. Their service however is always pushy, not the way to make a sale (I've worked for a retailer which carried MK products, we used to have people come to us because they were avoiding visiting the MK stores - worked out in my favour as the commission ended up in my pocket and I'd earn rewards for my sales)

They are SO judgemental. If I go in with an MK bag, watch or clothes, they're so much more friendly. I remember once my friend wore a duffle bag and gym gear and told me to meet her there since we were going to the gym afterwards but she wanted my opinion on a mother's day gift. They treated her like crap and out-right refused to help her. She was bawling outside the store when I arrived, however when I went in (without her) I was practically given VIP treatment since I was wearing the Jet Set Tote..ridiculous.

Evidently nobody. I've had ONE good experience and it was when I ordered something over the phone. All SA's at the locations near me claimed it wasn't possible to see inventory at other locations (bull****, I've had it done prior to that instance). This SA searched all the Canadian MK locations starting with those closest to me. While on the phone, she asked why I'd called such a distant location and after telling her what I'd gone through she gave me a slight discount and free shipping.

That being said, I'm a picky shopper. I need to look around, since I have an idea in mind or if I know what I want, I usually just tell the first SA to offer assistance to let me check it for damages before having it boxed up. Most times I'll order online or from US department stores when the prices are equivalent to those in Canada.

The experience of your friend is beyond awful! who the heck should be left in tears when shopping in a high end purse boutique?

The second situation.. geez of coarse they can check! When i got my first MK the SA offered to look up other store stock when i decided on a color they didn't have and called that store to have it held for me to pick up.

I wish we had other places to buy the bags, i'd skip MK stores in a heartbeat if i could. (er.. i know online but i like to see a purchase first)
