The leather on Sutton is pebbled caviar leather. She's very structured and has been super durable. I can wipe her down with a damp cloth and she's fine. I definitely don't have to baby her, but I do anyway.
I've only owned her for 2 years, but she was in excellent shape when I got her. ( and she still is...) I don't think she looks like an 18 year old bag at all!! I think every Coachie needs at least one bag from this era and earlier. As gorgeous as today's bags are, they just don't name them like this anymore.
Even though she's not one of my more flashy bags, I think she's certainly one of the classiest.
You inspired me. I had to have one and got one on eBay today! (Missing the long strap but I think I can get away with using the long strap from my sullivan!)
Wow, that's great! I've looked through my old pictures and there isn't a purse in any of them! I wish I could even remember what my old purses looked like.
I think it was the station, but honestly, this picture is 17 years old so I can't remember. LOL.

I have that same satchel but mine's black. I'm jealous yours is in much better condition than mine. You take really great care of your bags!
