I got them! 0.6 cttw in yellow gold.
I don’t want to say I’m disappointed because they’re really beautiful and well made, but I feel they look a bit… young. I’m 41 and I work in a creative environment with no dress code, and I like fashion (and my denim), but I don’t know why they feel very young. It might be because of how delicate they are or their dangly nature, I’m not sure.

Or maybe they’re summer earrings? It’s winter where I live and I love wearing chunky sweaters.

I have worn studs almost exclusively for like 10 years, maybe I have to get used to them, but even my husband said that they looked too young on me. My 10 yo loooves them and wants them for herself, but they are too much for her. Maybe when she’s 14 or 15.

I will try them on on Friday with an outfit that I think will go well with them.

WDYT? Thank you for letting me share!

I think they look great!! :biggrin:Don't think they're too young at all, more like sophisticated but with a bit of an edge ;).

You just need to get used to them.
I was very much a stud-earring girl for many many years. I would only buy and wear studs and whatever other earring I tried on I felt didn't work out or look right.
But it turns out I just needed to get used to wearing different types of earrings.:P
So now I have a variety of hoops, and dangle earrings. I'm still getting into large statement earrings but I'm sort of easing into it with decently sized pieces.

I don’t think they look too young for you either. Threaders are my favorite type of dangly earring. So comfortable, like they’re not even there. Like you I mainly wear studs, but I have a couple of threader earrings and they’re actually the ones I get the most compliments on.

I’m wearing my threader earrings today with a sweater with a high neckline and puffy shoulders and my hair up. My husband said he loved them with the sweater, and I went to breakfast with some friends and they complimented my earrings. I come from a culture that is very stingy with compliments (hahahaha), but I got a lot today!
I have a child’s birthday party this afternoon, let’s see if my earrings get noticed!
I guess my 10 yo is not getting them any time soon:giggle:

They look good on you! Threaders are a good change from studs bc they swing around and are more eye catching, but casual enough for day time
