I’m eyeing similar earrings to the ones on the photo. I’ve never tried or owned this kind of earrings. If you have them, are they comfortable? Do they move much or do they stay in place? Do you think they look nice on? I don’t know anyone who has these. Thanks!

Oh my, these are beautiful. When these were first popular, I had a pair. They are so lightweight, they don't move - and you can obviously easily adjust the length. They are just a great "delicate" earring, highly recommend.

I don't have the exact pair, but I have had threader earrings before. They are quite fun and easy to use.

However, depending on how big your piercing hole is (and how wide the chain is itself), you may or may not feel a bit of friction when threading it through your ear. Some people find it uncomfortable. For me, it's something I can feel going through but not uncomfortable.
In my experience they have not moved or fallen out of my ears.

Also, the longer the chain is, the more it's likely to get tangled with my hair or with itself (when it's swinging around). So that's something to keep in mind.

And finally, be aware of the material. If they are not a very thick gold plating or solid gold, chances are they will tarnish relatively quickly and that tarnish is very difficult to clean out on such a dainty piece with so much surface area due to the chain links.

Hope that gives you some food for thought, happy shopping!

I got them! 0.6 cttw in yellow gold.
I don’t want to say I’m disappointed because they’re really beautiful and well made, but I feel they look a bit… young. I’m 41 and I work in a creative environment with no dress code, and I like fashion (and my denim), but I don’t know why they feel very young. It might be because of how delicate they are or their dangly nature, I’m not sure.

Or maybe they’re summer earrings? It’s winter where I live and I love wearing chunky sweaters.

I have worn studs almost exclusively for like 10 years, maybe I have to get used to them, but even my husband said that they looked too young on me. My 10 yo loooves them and wants them for herself, but they are too much for her. Maybe when she’s 14 or 15.

I will try them on on Friday with an outfit that I think will go well with them.

WDYT? Thank you for letting me share!
