Use the bag. Let everyone see it. Too much money is spent to let them sit in a closet that does not care about or appreciate it. In the end, it’s a handbag. Share that beauty with the world.

yes, and they only depreciate with age (if one thinks about selling)

I do this! I have ben getting better, but there is one bag (my Coach x Disney Minnie Rogue) that I don't know that I will ever be able to use. It's my grail and I am terrified of ruining it.

Is that the deep purple one? I don't blame you, that's a gorgeous bag. I snagged a hangtag for it for free from a local Coach Outlet recently and that quenched my desire to get the bag since I too don't think I'd ever be able to carry it!

I’ve been struggling with carrying my LV bags day to day. Not for fear of ruining them, but I live in a small country town and feel really weird and out of place carrying them. Granted most people around probably don’t even know what LV is, but it’s kept me from carrying them and I only carry coach, and use LV for special outings or traveling, when people don’t know me or where I’m from. I know it sounds a bit ridiculous, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. So I think I will join you in 2020 of just trying to carry the bags and not worry about anything else. I don’t like them just sitting in my closet. I do use my SLG’s though.

When I moved to the Detroit area from NYC, I stopped carrying my Balenciagas for years because I felt self-conscious carrying designer bags when everyone around me was carrying made for outlet signature coach bags or inexpensive department store bags. I learned to love Coach, and have gone through the love-hate relationship with Coach and their wicked, dysfunctional pricing strategies.. I still treat myself to a premier designer bag every now and then and wear it proudly. I don't care if no one around me knows the brand or appreciates the artistry of the bag. My purses are for me.

I have only used my Cornflower Ace a handful of times in the last year. It’s so pretty, while the inside has been christened with a tiny dab of clear nail polish, the outside looks like the day I received it! I feel like my problem is so many other bags “feel” easily to reach for. Maybe lol I should take here off that high shelf.
