Has anyone purchased or seen IRL one of their wool/cashmere coats?

I have been seeing them all over IG and wanting to purchase one in Camel and Bone White, but there aren't any reviews online except from bloggers who were gifted these coats.

I'd love any feedback on their quality.

I'm on the fence about purchasing a $400 coat that's made in China, but if it's good quality then it can be a steal compared to a Max Mara coat... which means I can buy more colors . I live in a warm area so I wouldn't be able to use it more than a few times a year when I travel to Europe ... so can't justify buying a MaxMara .. just yet.

Coat looks very nice but I'd like to be able to touch it and feel the fabric. OT but I'm starting to find the word "curated" overused
Like "pop of color" was a few years back

I agree with you. I wish somebody would post a review somewhere of their experience with this brand! The coats look divine but I’d hate to see it pill or look old after a few wears for that price.

Is this coat an oversized fit? If I recall correctly, I have seen a review of this coat on YouTube by Audrey a la mode, who has a nice, classic minimalist style, and I think it looked a little large on her. Now, I know the oversized fit in coats has been popular lately, but it makes it really challenging to order such styles online without first trying them on. I ordered an oversized plaid wool coat earlier in the season online and had to return and re-order one size down which is a hassle. I am looking for a camel coat myself but the stores only have spring merchandise now, so I am going to wait till the fall when I can actually try them on.

Yes I think it’s an oversize fit. Their return policy requires you to ship it back to China (and returns are paid for by the buyer), which turns me off.

I haven’t been able to find a suitable and less expensive substitute for the gorgeous camel Max Mara coats, even at Zara. Sigh...

I’m glad I stumbled on this thread as I’ve just messaged the company today with a couple of questions. I too have been looking for a camel wrap coat for ages and started seeing this one all over Instagram so I looked them up. I think based on reading through the insta posts of the ‘influencers’ wearing them that I figured out the sizing but what’s putting me off is the returns process in case I don’t like it/it doesn’t fit and also the fact they reminded me that since I’m in the UK there’ll be VAT and customs duties to pay. When I worked that out it’ll bring the cost of the coat closer to £400 rather than the £265 cost of the coat itself so I think it’s a ‘no’ from me. If any of you do purchase please post about your experience in the hope it changes my mind!

I think if you are based in the UK it’s not worth it. For a little over £400 you can get a max mara from Bond Street and actually try it on so you can make sure it’s a perfect fit.

I’m still obsessing over this coat...Having used different VAT/duty calculators I’m now more confused over the import charges that I would incur buying this from UK so I’m going to call the tax office on Monday for clarification! I’ll update here once I know for sure in case it helps any of you out too [emoji4]

Perhaps you might like Elizabeth Martin's Cora wrap coat? I've wanted it myself for a while, but the wide lapels give me pause as I don't think wide lapels are flattering on my body type. Still, it's 100% Scottish Harris Tweed, silk blend lining, and made in Britain for £400!

I found similar (if not the same) looking coats on ebay, also made in China. Ordered one for less than $40. Haha.
Will update if it’s any decent quality. The listing says it’s a wool cashmere blend like the above brand so we’ll see.

Hope you like it, at least at that price you aren't out much if it's not what you thought! Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same coat, I've seen many of these made in China items being offered by different sellers for very different prices! In the cases I've seen it's very obvious it's the same item as they all use the same photos, I've heard these people order from the same factories and don't really carry the inventory but just drop ship the items.
