Thoughts on the Maillon Panthere Bracelet?

For those of you considering this piece…

My Cartier sizing for reference:
Love - 17
JUC - 16

I tried on this bracelet last week. A size 17 (same size as Love) was a very good fit for stacking. It was EXTREMELY comfortable. Not sure if I’ll take the plunge personally though, but it did cause me to pause and think since it was so comfy.

please note this photo was taken after 10 miles of walking immediately prior. My hand/wrist was swollen.

Gorgeous! Do you find that your Loves stack well with the Maillon or there’s quite a bit of crossover? I wear my Cartier pieces a little loose, so it might not stack as well.

Its been a while — I don’t recall significant crossover, but there may have been some to a slight degree. It would not discourage me from purchasing.

My issue has been whether it’s worth $7K for such a “generic looking” piece. It is incredibly comfortable though. I cannot emphasize that enough.

P.S. I like a tighter fit for Cartier bracelets. Since you prefer a looser fit, you likely would experience a lot of crossover with the Maillon.

The smaller one (3 links width, the one in my previous post) was $6800+tax in the US at the time I tried it on in October 2021. Not sure how much it is now.

Seriously, one of the most comfortable bracelets ever. Just a bit of a generic style which makes the price point more difficult, for me at least.

I asked my SA if she had the slim bracelet on a whim and to my surprise she had it in stock- as soon as it was on my wrist it was game over. I honestly think I like it better than my loves. It’s vintage and old fashioned. BUT it looks like something my dad would have gifted my mom for Christmas. I love it.

I haven’t liked anything from Cartier since I got my Clash until I now see this. I like how everything here is textured and visually interesting!
Need to go try it in person sometime.

It would be interesting to see this bracelet stacked with the clash! Both plain gold, “textured”.

I highly recommend trying it on in person and think you will be pleasantly surprised
