So they have two a year, one in Dec/Jan and one in July/Aug. I have asked they will not say criteria for access to the sale but say that being a newsletter subscriber and having an account are a good start.
I have the small in croc black and mini also in croc but a nude from this season. Absolutely loved the small so I bought the mini. I’d say if you’re debating between the two it depends what your intending for it’s use. I use the small as a work bag and the mini is more than large enough for my essentials to run errands. Would highly recommend the croc - they’re more expensive but I think they elevate an already beautiful and classic bag.

I too bought the nude mini antigona a few weeks ago. I have both sizes and agree they both have their place (work bag vs mini everyday errand bag). I also like the mini can be used just as a top handle for dressier occasions.
BTW both small and mini Black croc's are on sale for 50% off at SSense now, as well as mini matte black and small nude (dune) - not sure if private or not. Also, Nordstrom will price match SSENSE if you prefer to purchase from Nordstrom (ie Nordy Club points). I bought a small antigona from Nordstrom and it went on 40% off at SSENSE. I just chatted online with Nordstrom agent and got the price adjustment right away!

I bought a blue mini antigona years ago, and I still get compliments on it. For a mini bag, it carries a lot! And I think it’s definitely a classic, even though I don’t let that affect which bags I buy/love. I just bought another mini from ssense, and I’m excited because it’s a neutral color, and I’ll be able to get more use out of it.

Looking for some purse advice. Saw the small black croc Antigona is on sale at SSense for 51% off. I want to use the Antigona as a "work bag" but concerned the croc might be too "flashy" at my workplace. Also concerned that the black croc might be heavier than the goatskin. Thinking the pearl grey may be a more understated color. Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!
The antigona is a great work bag as it carries a lot, even the mini packs a punch. It's the perfect designer bag that's classic, stylish yet understated. And 51% off for the croc version is a steal of a deal! I don't think it is too flashy, however if you are already concerned about it, then that is a flag for you. As much as I think the croc is beautiful, I personally would tire of it hence prefer classic shiny or matte Antigonas. Get the one you think you will use even if at regular price it will be more worth it!
I think black croc isn't flashy at all, and instead, adds an understated elegance to a simple design like the ant. I personally have the black shiny, and I'm happy with it, but I also own other croc bags by Givenchy so I know they are known for them. The ant is a popular style, so while I dont see the black croc as often, if you like even more minimal, go for non croc. It's a personal choice. As a work bag, whether you're in conservative or creative field, I think the black croc is a timeless investment, and a deal at 50% off. But don't let the sale price sway you. Maybe you need to see it in person to decide. As for weight, there's barely any diff btwn croc and non croc imo. I prefer a darker bag for work, than a pastel or nude color...but I'm in NYC so dark colors are more ubiquitous.

FYI I have the ant in black and grey, and just bought the nude color a few weeks ago on sale. Love the neutral versions of ant bags.. Major drool! Good luck with your decision, I"m sure you'll make the right choice!

Sale price shouldn't be a reason to purchase something, but I will say a part of the reason why I got my small black croc antigen was because of the sale through ssense earlier this year and it has quickly become a favourite and eventually led to purchasing the mini antigona during this sale. I don't find the small antigona to be heavy in the least and a super durable. Also don't find it 'flashy' at all - actually I find it to be quite understated, classic and chic because of the croc.
