Thoughts on Bony Levy?

I was wondering about the 3 "C"s with the Bon Levy -- on Nordy's wesite, they cite H-I, SI2, do you just accept the pair they ship? I'd rather have "H" than "I" but don't see a way to learn the particulars of the pair you'd be buying... Also, with the upgrade policy what percent of your original studs expenditure do they offer as the trade-in? Thanks!!!

Yea you just accept what is shipped. There is no way to learn the particulars as they're not certed stones. Essentially the "upgrade" is that you're returning them and rebuying, so you'd get the refund for what you paid for the other ones, and rebuy the new ones at the current price.

Love the bony Levy Studs earrings. I originally purchased Kwiat about 8 years ago but since then I've upgraded my Bony Levy's 1 time at Nordstrom. They are super sparkly and sit nice a flat on the ear lobe. Can't say enough about them. I like them more than Kwiat and they are less expensive due to white gold vs platinum.

I'm considering buying some Bony Levy skinny diamond bangles in white gold, rose gold, and yellow gold. I really need some fun and sparkly bracelets for night (I usually wear DY during the day). These wouldn't be everyday bracelets but would be stacked together and maybe with other bracelets.

Does anyone regret buying their Bony Levy skinny diamond bangles? Why or why not?

Just received my first Bony Levy piece from the bf as a birthday gift and I'm so in love! Too early for the Anniversary Sale but I love it so much and I can feel the addiction starting.

Planning on wearing it next to my Tiffany DBTY ring and Cartier love on my other hand [emoji7]

Bony Levy is mentioned in a few threads on tPF, including in this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Do any of you have photos (rings in particular, as he seems to specialize in pave/micropave) to share? I've combed through what's already on tPF. I also have a few general questions, and would appreciate your input:

- Several people mention the Nordstrom upgrade. Somebody clarified this means you return the ring and then buy what you want at its list price. Does Nordstrom have a formal upgrade policy? For example, some jewelers will buy back a ring at its full price, but there is usually a condition, such as "you must buy another diamond piece worth at least twice as much."
- I have no prior experience with pave diamond pieces. Here and there online, people mention that Nordstrom works with Bony Levy to replace/reset any diamonds that are knocked loose. Do you have any experience with repairs on BL pieces?
- Finally, for the rings that are currently on sale, the carat price works out to about $2000-3000 per carat. This is a terrible measure by itself for the value of the ring, since it depends how the ring looks on a particular individual, how one likes the design, the metal value, longevity, etc. Overall, though, do you think BL jewelry is good quality?

Haha was the bony levy rose gold too?! They're both gorgeous!

Haha I guess 5 months later and I'm still over the moon over my DBTY.

The Bon Levy was yellow gold as well. I ended up returning it for something else but with a very heavy heart. It's really gorgeous and I highly recommend it if you're in the market for something like it. So simple but very elegant..I'll def look into purchasing it again in the future.

I can comment on the skinny bangles. I bought 2 at last year's sale and I have worn them almost every single day since then. :)

They are so sparkly! I get comments on them everywhere I go. And I have had no issues with them bending or breaking. I adore them and plan to buy more at the sale next week. ($1500 usd, I think.)
