Prefer just the chain. The amethyst distracts IMHO. I really appreciate the thickness and richness of the yellow gold. So chic.

While an amethyst is a semi-precious stone...the amethyst in your enhancer appears to be an African amethyst. Deep purple with a red flash. A wonderful amethyst of higher quality to own! Amethyst is a stone that brings good health/protection and we could all use that. I think it looks great with your heavy Gucci chain...go for it!

I like it and you wear it well. Also since all things 80’s are coming around again I think it will fit right in with current trends.
It looks fabulous! Love the shape, stone, and style of the enhancer, especially on your Gucci chain. And if you want to give the enhancer a more casual look, you can pair it with a leather cord. I say it's a keeper!
Actually, Siberian Amethyst is quite expensive. Also, Amethyst parures, including tiaras, are in a few of the Royal Jewels collections of European Royalty including the BRF.
I like it with the heavy Gucci chain. It's a large pendant & wouldn't look right on a thinner, more delicate chain. It would look awesome on a large gold Omega.....in keeping with the 80's look. A lot of the 80's looks are coming back in style.

I like the chain (very elegant) but I think the pendant makes the entire thing look cheap.
I like both pieces but not together...the whole look looks cheap especially with the casual outfit.
Amethyst is my birthstone & I love it’s royal deep purple hues. May not be the most expensive gemstone but “cheap” - I think not. I think it’s a great statement pc together with your Gucci chain... I’d wear that with a strapless top in a heartbeat.
If it's a current trend rather than a classic piece I probably wouldn't want to spend as much for it
