Yes. Baggaholic, I have been an Hermes fan for many years and even belong to an Hermes board. I am POSITIVE that no Hermes SA will call other stores for you to try to get you a bag since that is not the way their system works. Each bag is for each store and you must buy IN store IF you happen to come across one. Furthermore, each Hermes store MIGHT get ONE Birkin once every other month and it is NOT sitting in a store for more than a few minutes.

EVERYONE who buys Hermes knows that you cannot call a store and get an SA to search. It's just unheard of, even if you are Oprah~
So I just don't know what you're saying.

Yes, I find it very hard to believe that an Hermes SA would do an "international" search for a Birkin! I have been a loyal customer for years and have worked with one SA for the whole time and she says their company just isn't set up that way to "search" for a particular bag! You either put your name on a list at one store, or get lucky by just happening upon a bag when physically at a store. They just don't do "searches."

And Baggaholic .. please describe what Dude was wearing .. we are ALL dying to know! And most importantly .. what handbag was she using?

62 st in NY get's shipment in every day. Most of the times they are Kellies but they get about 7 Birkins a month, call and speak to Bookie, she will confirm this.

but if you really look at my bag.. you can totally tell its used.

There are black spots and the leather is scrapping / coming off (due to wear and tear kinda thing)

SHe is taking an awful long time to email me back.

Babe calm down. The leather is distressed. I'm sure she didn't send you a used bag. This is not how she works. Mines also looked used but I came to find that they are all this way. When I recieved my bag it did not have tags. It also appeared used, but after confirming with other buyers I came to find that this is how the leather is. Ask other people whom own this bag.

It is heavy on the shoulder for anyone who is considering one, but, it is worth it.

I have only seen the other style in real life but the leather is that distressed rugged look. Sometimes these bags seem used, i remember thinking my paddington was used when i got it! only to realize that is what distressed leather is. LOL.

Bagwhore, i called the Hermes here in Bellagio.. apparantly your bag is very difficult to find? I never like Hermes so i am very surprise its hard to get..
Anyway, i left my phone # at the store, in case they are able to help me locate one. I'll let you know if they ever call me..

i dont think distress is the same as dirty.......... my bag is dirty...

The bag is a light color I could imagine it would get dirty quite easily,,even just hanging in a shop. What is the outcome of this? I don't think this seller would ever sell you a "used bag". Please post picturs.
