I had the same concerns about the large size but got one and love it ! I double the straps on mine (un-clip /unbuckle then put though D-ring) and it works well for me. My favorite is medium size but one large is great to have. :smile1:Yours is a really nice color !

Thank you for the suggestion! I do that with my Baby Sage bags and it works great! I am glad to hear that you have a large borough and love it!

What a stunning bag katev. Have you worn her yet?

It's official, she's mine; I carried her for the first time today! Letstalkbags, it was your suggestion about doubling the strap that convinced me that the bag would work for me - because now it sits snugly under my arm rather than hitting my hip like a big briefcase.

I don't know why I didn't think of that myself, I had doubled the strap on the bag that I have been carrying since Easter, but it worked great with the large Borough and it also alleviates concerns about the skinny strap.

Last night I cut the tags, sprayed 2 applications of Apple Rain Garde, decorated her with my Turquoise Cabochon Flower Daphne Jewel Charm 92685 SV TU, and packed her for today's trip into the big city.

This is a gorgeous bag and I felt special carrying her; and I can tell you that I didn't see anyone else carrying a bag like this, even though I see many beautiful and expensive bags when I am downtown.

Here are a couple of pictures of her sitting next to me today on the commuter train ride to work.

:smile1:Your post made me smile, and I am happy the strap works well for you. Your bag looks stunning and the flower charm just completes the perfect look. So glad I could help make your decision to keep it.
Enjoy your new beautiful borough and congrats !

Beauty! The clutch oh my that's even more wonderful! Great work!

Thank you! You know, I was carrying my Honey Borough today and a woman commented that it was "Such a beautiful bag!" and I thanked her, but then she saw the name and said "Oh Coach, they're very expensive."

I said "They can be, but I bought this at the outlet on clearance" and she quickly and dismissively answered "They are still expensive, even at the outlet!" And the conversation ended.

She was carrying a plain "no name bag" and that's fine, and I am sure that the Honey Soft Retro Borough was quite a bit more expensive than her bag (even at the outlet clearance price) but I think that my Borough will probably last a lot longer, and it is a classic style, so it might turn out to be the better investment.

That's something my mom would say :smile1: and then turn around and tell me to buy both bags when I'm torn between 2 bags :D

Thank you! I am still making sure that she will work for me, because the bag is so large - almost a briefcase - so I haven't cut the tags yet.

It's supposed to be a fall bag (suede) but if I keep her then I will have to carry it before putting it away for the rest of the summer!
who cares? brown is a neutral! carry it all year!!!

I love when you can find retail store items at rock bottom prices at the factory store. Congrats on your gorgeous find!

Thanks! I am carrying her right now and I really love this bag; but I have so many cute spring and summer purses that I will probably put her away for awhile to enjoy them - if the weather ever warms up in the Midwest!

I'm glad that I am taking the opportunity to carry her now, it may be hard to eventually put her in storage.
