i would go to a professional piercer as well, even if u feel silly going for regular earrings. my body hates holes - i had a horrible time with my normal ear piercings, pierced my cartilage 3 times with horrible infections each time, and my navel took almost a full yeal to heal. make sure they are using stainless steel or a good gold, some people have bad reactions to the metal. just remember to keep the piercing clean, and i wouldn't remove the earrings until fully healed - u just have to live with the piercing set. good luck!
