Thin love and JUC on larger fingers

If you can wait, I would honestly wait until your pregnancy weight decreases and until your weight stabilizes.

The JUC ring (thin or regular size) is a tricky ring to size correctly. Because it does not lay flat or flush to the skin completely around your finger, it may not be the usual size you go for when you buy a normal shaped ring.

I have the thin version (I chose it because I have small hands with short fingers) and I eventually had to size down because the slight gap created by the ring made it too loose on my finger. How did I figure out? When I went home, I did the shake test and the ring flew off my finger! Gave me a bit of a heart attack haha.

Congratulations on being a new mom! And early congratz to your soon-to-be new JUC ring! I love mine and enjoy wearing it often.

On a side note, not that I'm a mom or anything like that, but the JUC ring may have a tendency to catch on soft things like knits. So as a busy mom, since you need to be very hands on, you may find the ring to be a bit in the way. Just something to think about.

All very good points thanks!

I get carried away during nap times sometimes. Yes you’re right, definitely need to wait. Don’t want to scratch my baby!

Hi guys,

I feel like treating myself to a thin JUC ring all of a sudden. I’m a new mom and still haven’t lost the pregnancy weight but normally have very chubby short fingers even at a healthy weight. Does anyone have chubby hands like me so I can see what it would actually look like? I’m trying to see if it would suit me. There’s no way I can get to a cartier right now with an infant so it’s going to have to be an online purchase!
Hi,
Congratulations for being a new mum.
I have sm Juc ring, and I love mine.
Yes it little tricky with the sizing, I was eye on wedding ring love and be sizing by my SA last year in May ( in UK start getting warm) at size 55, and it fit perfact
And around March this year I was decided to purchase the ring so I choose Sm Juc , and I have choosen size 56 , reason because Nail head could cause indents on the finger if ring are just fit and may cause discomfort in summer time when fingers get swollen. And also I think in the long term if I have put weight on and getting older ( now 43)my skin will become thicker ,if I get the jeweller resized it might change the shape, because of the stlye of Juc ring.
My ring is little loose but if very comfortable in summer time here in the UK when my body become little swollen up in the heat.
( in the UK weather change almost everyday)
In winter I wear it with Ring size adjustable in transparent and curved with ring shape that I bought from Amazon.
And it work very well. But as you was say even in the healthy weight, you still have chuppy fingers, may be you want to get a chance to try on in the boutique before purchasing.
Hope my experience is help you to made decision before purchase online. And everyone got different shape on fingers as some had say two size down or like me go size up.

Ps. My Juc ring never caught on anything because I wear the nail tip towards my other ring that I have stack with.
My fingers not chubby but shot fingers. You can check out on my old post to see what it looked like.
Good luck.

Thanks for that. Yes the boutique makes sense with this ring. I probably need to see how it looks on!

I just bought the thin JUC in a size 9 that I plan on wearing on my index finger. I wanted to wear it on my middle finger, but it's a little tight, so I switched it to my index finger instead. I don't really have chubby fingers, per se, but they're not thin, put it that way. I think it looks fine and don't like the way the regular JUC looks. I prefer that it's more delicate looking to match the thin JUC bracelet that I just bought as well. I love them both!
