Yes, darker than Beechwood. IMO, Beechwood has a slight warm peach tone whereas, again, IMO, Taupe is a true cool tone. Another pic in slightly different lighting next to Bandit.
Love!!! Especially the nickel hardware!!! I do love my beechwood but this looks pretty also.

The taupe is gorgeous! Thank you for the pics! I returned my Cassie 19 and am waiting on the regular size in leather/canvas combo to come to the US website. It was only on the UK website, but I looked tonight (I check multiple times a day) and it was now available on the Italian website. I am confidently hopeful that it does come to America.

The Cassie in taupe is wonderful...I love it.
And thank you so much for the colour comparison because at the moment I'm looking for the Charlie Bucket and couldn't decide if I should choose the beechwood/gold (which is on sale) or the taupe/nickel (regular price). So finally...taupe won
