There is something about Cassie...

I recently discovered Cassie and now have four of her - chalk, metallic graphite, bright cherry colorblock, and black (on the way). I love the option to customize/personalize my things and opted to have the hangtag on the chalk bag monogrammed with my initials in small gold letters and am looking for ideas for my other bags. I'd love to see everyone's embellishments/monograms!

I took my hang tag to get heat stamped. I’m a grown woman that loves sparkle and unicorns. Was a tad bummed bc the foil didn’t completely adhere on the edge of the D.

Bummer. Is there any way for them to fix that? Can it be restamped? I'm sure it's very difficult to line up exactly. I wonder if they would give you the foil they use so maybe you could glue thin pieces into the gaps? Or maybe they can do another one for you since they didn't do it right to begin with?

How disappointing. I agree that they should redo it!

Probably not for the exact reason you mentioned. It would be hard to line it up perfectly. The girl who stamped mine mentioned something about having to pinch the clasp otherwise I may lose it and it cannot be replaced. I’m not quite sure why. Anybody know why that is? As we were walking out my husband asked me if that meant I would have to sell it without the tag if I decide to sell it later.

I would have taken the ball chain thing off to hand my tag for stamping if that is what she is referring to?

Hang tags fall off sometimes. It happened to me when I was carrying my Rogue satchel. Luckily I heard them hit the parking lot when I was getting in the car so I didn't lose them. Those ball chains clasps aren't very secure so the clasps do need to be pinched tighter to secure it. Some people take extra step to secure it. I think @whateve uses clear fishing line. I think others use an extra chain. I can't remember which thread they posted the pics, sorry. As for your reselling bags I have seen sellers keep their personalized hangtags and sell the bag only.

Got my first Cassie today! I love it! I have only glanced at it at the store when it first came out and had been waiting all this time for it to go on sale and finally it's here! It's bright pink but definitely not neon! For color comparison here it is next to my fuschia clutch.

Enjoy it! The Cassie is definitely one of my favorite bags! So easy to carry!

Thanks for the info. I hate the stupid ball chains and know all to well how easily they can break or separate. Good to know about being able to resell without one. I’ve assured dh that isn’t likely.

I don't hate it but I am also not a big fan as they leave a trail of dents on leather surface if the bag is stored resting on the chain. I don't know why they don't change the chain to something better. The original hang tag was intended for people to feel a sample of the full grain leather they used to use. It no longer serves that purpose. Back in the day people used to throw away the hangtag. Now it's just a decorative accessory but considered an important detail that's part of the bag.

Beautiful, House! I love that fuchsia too!

Has anyone seen any new Cassie colors lately? I have black already but am itching to buy another. Since this one is on sale I’m tempted to get it even though I don’t really like pink or signature typically...but it’s on sale
