I would sell the Marlie now that I finally got the Cassie on sale but I’m a sucker for that jewelled green. and the top handle is lovely.
Also, I think the Marlie sits at a nicer spot. I’m 5’8 for reference. I like my bags high on the hip though.
anyway, i can’t recommend the Cassie enough!!

Those are both beautiful bags and different enough to justify having both in your collection :)

Black is classic and that pop of green is lovely too!

I agree with your point about hardware. I’ve used both MFF and retail bags and the hardware on the latter is better quality and ages well compared to the othe

My roommate has the Marlie and I have Cassie and the Cassie 19s. She loves the Marlie, because is tiny (4'9) and the Cassie is too big for her. The pebbled leather has a nice hand;, they cut corners on the hardware and organization.
For those who are out there wanting a Cassie in black: I know it's not the $210 price, but keep an eye on Dillard's. The black Cassie is there at $262. That's still a lot better than $350. It might go down.

You're right, there's such a huge difference in the hardware! The Cassie's is so much more substantial!

Do you find significant difference in the quality of the pebbled leather and lining etc? I haven't seen either bag in real life before.

No, I think the leather is pretty much the same. I was impressed with the quality of the Marlie's leather when I first got it. I was thinking that it wasn't that different that some high end items but that the hardware was lower end and the zippers aren't fancy like on a chanel or anything like that. I was a bit disappointed in the hardware to be honest but forgot about it quickly because I enjoyed using the bag. Then when I got the Cassie I can see how much nicer her hardware is!

Yeah! Two weeks ago when I bought the black Cassie 19 from the store the Manager said be patient… there are so many chalk Cassie 19s….. 4500 total at the time… they would definitely get to 50 % off! They likely will get to outlet at 60% off or more….. but I’m afraid to risk losing out if I wait another month for them to get to outlets….. but we see them for less than 100 at outlets i just may have to buy more as backup….. ha

I just love the Cassie 19, it is so cute but way too small for me. I see Macy's has the azure finally on sale too. I can't justify the purchase when I know it's not for me but it's tempting. But I am so happy to have grabbed the taupe & granite 19. I am in love with the colors! Even though it will hardly get any use, no regrets on grabbing that one!

I want to get the chalk Cassie and now I'm wondering if I should wait! I'm hesitant though since chalk is the only color left online, at least in Canada :confused1:

Call the Coach customer service in Canada and ask for total count of chalk available in stores and online or call an SA at boutique…. They can look that count up for you… just make sure you tell SA you want to know total between retail stores and online. so you know if too few or many….

I called my local store and they have a few regular-sized chalk bags left. They were discounted this Monday and could be further discounted in 2 weeks. I hope it gets cheaper, but also don't want to miss out by waiting too long!

I double-checked and it seems like the signature print is the only one sold out online for us. So interesting to see what people in different countries prefer!

They were at the discounted price of 177 and 210 since the sale started this whole month of June…… manager at store told me she was hoping to see discount of 50 percent for the 4th of July….. so have to keep hoping….. as I really think the chalk with the volume they have currently will get to outlets but I will likely not wait and but at 50 percent off
