First time poster here.. am I crazy?
I’ve been wanting the tabby/cassie 19 and regular Cassie for ages but couldn’t decide on colours.. I ordered the cassie 19 in white (can’t wait for more colours!) my heart has always wanted oxblood though so I ordered the tabby 26 in oxblood, then I went down a loooooooong never ending vortex of coach YouTube videos and found the Riley 22 in eggplant on eBay (hopefully authentic..will have it authenticated but they had good reviews). Then I found a small Alexa in oxblood.... and now I want the cassie in oxblood too. I’m most excited to switch out all the straps with the other bags..so I wanted them to match. But now thinking black cassie since I have the other three in oxblood/eggplant.
What do you think? Crazy or a genius? Each of the bags serves a very different purpose *cough*
I’m just worried as SA in Australia said the oxblood has stopped production so I didn’t want to miss out on the cassie, I assume the black will always be available?

Nice price. I would ask for close up pictures of the flap corners to see if there is any wear/issues as one side is not pictured at all and the other side looks like maybe a small crack. If anyone's interested in a pre-owned metallic graphite Cassie for cheap..

I think the bag would be great for customizing. I already have the bag so I obviously don't need this one. I have only used mine a couple of times. Do you think that crack on the corners are inevitable?Nice price. Yes, I do. I had a black Cassie that I literally used twice and stored for 1 1/2 years. When I sold it, I pulled it out and saw a slight crack on one side. I never fully opened the flap so it wasn't from my wear and tear.Do you think that crack on the corners are inevitable?
That's a bummer. Oh well. I will still use it till that happens.Yes, I do. I had a black Cassie that I literally used twice and stored for 1 1/2 years. When I sold it, I pulled it out and saw a slight crack on one side. I never fully opened the flap so it wasn't from my wear and tear.
The cracking of the glazing I think is quite common. The leather is sturdy and the glazing in most parts are ok, but maybe in some bags, the glazing in the parts where the flap folds is not so flexible to withstand regular, or even minimal, use. I just said it because I know it bothers some. I will use my 3 Cassie bags (regular/19) even when that happens as nobody will see it but me. However, this is why I won't pay full price for Cassie. The cracking of the glazing I think is quite common. You should get a vintage Coach Court! It's made of glove tanned leather and it will never do that because there's no edge coat to these bags!I just said it because I know it bothers some. It happens on the LV Pochette Metis also. It is just the way this particular design works, regardless of kind of leather or canvas used. It would just upset me a lot more paying $2,000 plus for a bag to end up doing that than to pay under $200 for one to do that![]()
