Really excited to see a thread on the Cassie. I have tried the PM several times but never looked quite right on me plus all the issues put me off. I am excited to check this out at my local coach. Hope I love it.

I am not typically a fan of Coach and have never considered purchasing a Coach piece. Somehow I saw a pic of the Cassie online and I was intrigued at first sight. I own an LV PM in monogram which I like but I can’t say I love. I think it’s something about the monogram with the large gold hardware on the front. I any case, I decided to go to my local Coach boutique to check the Cassie out and I literally fell in love. At first glance, the quality looks amazing and the shopping experience was really lovely. Very much like a luxury boutique experience. My SA even punched extra holes in my strap because I’m on the petite side and I wanted to wear it higher up on my hip. I walked out with the Cassie not only in black but also in chalk! No regrets!!

100% same situation here - had been going back and forth between a red or a black PM, hoping for a DE one, never pulling the trigger... and now I am so happy with my Cassie! Let's see what happens next lol
Black leather. I don’t have any structured bags, so it’s an affordable experiment for me. I have downsized to a couple of speedys, one petit noe, and a couple of vintage totes. Mine should arrive next week.

Indeed! I love the black leather. I want to get it too, but I control myself. I should maximize my use of the saddle brown first. Keep us updated.
I would love a Cassie in LV's Rose Poudre or Hermes's Pink Sakura with Gold Hardware because that is my favorite pink!
DH is in Europe right now and I'm tempted to have him buy me a Saddle color. But the price is €395 against $350 if I ask my friend in the US to buy the black one for me. This is tough!

I saw the Cassie very quickly in black, chalk, pink and monogram. I think it’s a great bag. I like the more rounded shape of the Cassie flap rather than the pointy PM flap which makes it appear more square shape if that makes any sense. I think that is one of the reasons I never pulled the trigger on PM besides the glazing issues. I would love to see it in the nude color (beechwood?). I am going back this weekend to decide on color.
Just received the Cassie and happened to find a Court bag in my area that only needed a bath/conditioning/leather cream. Do I really need both? YES!!?
