Hi all! Do you think WOC will still be useful in near future? I mean, mobile phone size keeps changing and now in many places people dont even carry physical credit cards anymore. Membership cards also have digital version. I cant decide whether to get a WOC or mini/small bag that can fit more things. And I would like to have something that I can use for a long time.

I'm interested in the reissue 2.55 WOC. Soblack patent - patent and calf. Reference: A70328 B02281 94305
The pictures on the website does not show the back, but I can see the sides are not patent.
My concern is creasing, or with patent - cracking. Even my mum told me there is a reason why Hermès doesn't do patent, as the creases can crack and split over time.
Does anyone have a patent bag? If so, what are your thoughts about use over time, wear and tear?

if you are afraid to use it then I would sell it and get a caviar one or a larger bag in caviar. Since we are in an inflation it might be that the second hand market will slow down. Therefore I would consider to sell it soon.
One of my favorite purses I have is my patent WOC I got in 2015! I have used the bag many many times and it still looks fabulous!!!! I have no creases or cracks. It is black so I hear black patent holds very well.

I think the WOC is super useful. I just purchased it and I love it. I love the versatility that you can wear it casually with jeans or to a formal event as a clutch or shoulder bag. It's such a gorgeous timeless piece. The mini is cute too but the WOC comes in caviar, so it's much more carefree and durable over the long term. I also love the small over the mini. Depends what you need it for. The WOC in my opinion is more casual yet also great for fancy events. The small is more of a statement piece and I don't think I feel comfortable wearing it on a regular day to do groceries and such lol. I'm not that fancy! Lol

I absolutely love my WOC use it everyday (7Years now) & still perfect! All types of weather...no damage problems at all. As prices for WOC seem to be rising steadily I personally would hold onto it.
I own three Chanel patent bags and they hold up really well, I love them!

Well if I see it in person and it calls me - great! But I also have to check my emotions at the door and use my head to decide if it works for me.
Hello everyone - happy weekend! I have been wanting a WOC for awhile, especially after I got a gorgeous SO Black lambskin card holder, and I was hoping to find the matching WOC. Well, I found one in perfect condition and just couldn’t help myself!! It’s such a sumptuous soft gorgeous leather and perfectly sewn and aligned. I also love So Black bags from H and CHANEL. And for once a crossbody length that hits me exactly where I would adjust it as I am tall. I also felt comfortable with lambskin in a small bag that hugs my body and that hopefully won’t hit corners. I am totally in love!! Presenting my first WOC! 
PS I swear my iPhone picks up every microscopic dust dot or dog hair I can’t see with the naked eye

Good choice! I love the 19 WOC, so versatile and the top handle is a game changer. Mine is in goatskin, sorry I cannot be much help with lambskin. It's from the 20A collection. I've had it for a year and a half. Wear it quite regularly and I do not baby it. No issues with color transfer while wearing jeans or dark clothing.
*Just took these pictures for you, current condition. I have worn it easily more than 50 times. Packed it on multiple vacations, thrown it in totes, and split coffee on it once
