The main reason I don't like snap closures is that I've had several bags from various fashion houses that have broken over time. You can have them fixed, but still. The other reason is (as you suggest) I find closing snap closures difficult because you have to line them up properly and press hard (I tried with an older WOC before buying the updated WOC). However, once secured, the snap closure is definitely more secure than the magnetic closure, in my opinion.

Still, I recently overstuffed my updated WOC. As long as I could get the flap closed and magnet secured, it did not come off - even wearing it crossbody. So I would say the updated magnetic closure is fairly secure.

So, for me, if there is an option between snap and magnetic, I prefer magnetic. Just my opinion.

Thank you. That is what I suspected. I have been pleasantly surprised with the ease of my snap, so I don’t see me bothering to swap out bags. I am pretty attached to her I will just remind myself she is beautiful as is snap and all. I did not realize how hard it was to find black caviar with gold. I actually at first thought the SA was just creating a sense of urgency when she made a big deal about having one in stock. The new magnetic closure is definitely something I need to remember for the future.

Is this a new design, and seasonal or on going? The website says it comes in black and red. Can anyone also share what is the different between lambskin and goat skin as this woc is in goatskin. Wondering if it is more carefree like calfskin or delicate like lambskin.

Also - it doesn't appear to have the usual back pocket. Does it have no back slide pocket, or would it go all the way across?

I have the WOC with the snap, just bought within the last couple of months. I honestly don't see what the issue is about the snap as it hasn't been a problem for me. I find having my phone in the WOC provides a nice firm surface to engage the snap. I also prefer the leather zipper pulls because the updated metal zippers are just one more thing to dent the interior leather of the bag. The snap would have to really, really bug me to exchange this bag! JMO!

Hi all

I’m about to treat myself to the classic woc in caviar for everyday use
I can’t decide between gold and silver hardware- I’m blonde and fair skinned, I think silver looks less showy and is elegant, but gold is beautiful. Im quite casual and tend to wear minamolsit fashion in black, grey, white and solemn other neutrals

Isn’t like to wear everyday in addition to a bigger bag at times, and in evenings too

1. Should I get silver gold hardware? Also does anyone have any experience de wear and tear between these please?
2.
The store here only has 27 series. Is the 28 superior with magnetic closure? If so I could wait to purchase?

Would love to have your help please

Does anyone know if the 2018 Cruise Collection had a Beige WOC with the greek charms? I'm seeing one on ebay but I can't find if that was an actual color they sold?
I want a black one but can't find it anywhere so the beige will have to do.

Not much help with the hardware—because I like both! Lol My classic WOC has gold hardware—I was just drawn to that hardware. But I like both. I like magnetic closures better because they are just easier for me to close. That’s also a personal preference. Try and see them in person if you can—it’s easier to decide if you see them in person.

Hi all,
I was able to snatch a brand new Fushia Caviar WOC with SH- for under 2k-
This would be my 1st WOC- I have many Chanel flaps and tote bags,(big bags) but always wanted to get the WOC. The problem is that I think it doesn't looked proportioned to my size. I am not huge but am 5'7" and on the curvy side -(mostly in the ab area) and it falls right on top of my hip.
not lower like many pix i have seen. I would love to keep in my collection. What do you guys think of the color (most of my bags are black - of course) and how does it look after a while when you stuff it? any suggestions appreciated tyia
