Hi ladies! I'm a new member and am hoping I can get your opinions on what to do with a beautiful WOC I'm thinking of getting. I just got back from Europe, where I picked up a classic black quilted woc in black caviar/ghw from the Rue Cambon store in Paris! It is absolutely beautiful, and I got a bit of a discount on it (1865 euros + VAT refund).

Now my dilemma is this: while I was at the Rue Cambon store, I saw a quilted silver card holder with embossed camellias. I loved it and almost got it but was not sure and left. As soon as I left the store, I regretted not getting it. The more I thought about it, the more I regretted it, esp since it was $290 euros before the VAT refund. So I decided as soon as I came back to America to see if I could track down the card holder in a Chanel store here. I walked into the Chanel boutique in my city last night looking for the card holder. They didn't have it in the silver camellia pattern, but instead had the WOC in that pattern. It's $2500 and the SA told me it was the last one available in the country. I absolutely love it, but my question is, is it absolutely insane of me to buy a second WOC in a week, esp since I have not had a chance to enjoy the classic one I just bought in Paris? For reference, a picture of the silver WOC is below.

tldr: bought classic black caviar/ghw WOC in Paris, only to fall in love with a seasonal silver/camellia embossed WOC for a much stiffer price here in the US! I can't (and don't want to) return the classic black/ghw WOC, but should I go for the silver/camellia?

Your thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you all again!

You are absolutely Not insane! The WOC is such an easy purse to carry. Honestly, you will use it more than any other bag you’ll ever purchase. I say get both of them and switch them out, so you do not wear them down!

Of all my bags, the WOC’s are the ones I grab every day. I’m thinking of purchasing another classic black one just to keep in case my current one starts looking worn. Now, they may be a case of insanity [emoji23]

Thanks PoohBear! I'm actually the same way - if I really like something, I'll go out and buy an identical piece just to make sure that if the first one ever wears out/is discontinued, I'll have a backup hahaha! I do this for clothes and shoes--hopefully won't make a habit of doing it for Chanel WOCs as that would be lethal to my bank account!

I really do love the camellia-embossed leather, the color, and the overall daintiness of the WOC. One reason why I ultimately went for the WOC over the classic flap in medium was because I felt like the medium flap was just a bit bulky on my frame (even though it looks awesome on other people). I also just feel like this silver camellia WOC is really special and I don't want to regret passing on it in the future, since I won't be able to find something exactly like it again.

Hi guys, I am thinking of purchasing a Chanel classic WOC has anyone got any opinions? Is it worth the money and does anyone know the current price, sorry if there is already a thread on this but I am new thank you x
I am currently in the market for a WOC as my first Chanel purchase too. They have quite a few with prices listed on their website. Most are listed under the Small Leather Goods section. I have been to a couple Neimans to try to track one down. No luck so far. So headed over to the Chanel Boutique next weekend to try there.
Here is a whole thread on nothing but the WOC's from the Chanel forum. This thread and pics helped me narrow down what I was looking for. Good luck!!

I find it to be too small. I bought 2, a black one and an orangey red one. I fits just my iPhone, a pack of tissues and a coin purse and nothing else. Because it’s so small, it’s not an everyday bag. I use it if I run to the grocery store or if I am taking my daughter to the playground and know I will be back home within a few hours.

With that said, I still love it. I just wish it’s just a tad bit bigger.

I love my WOC. It was my first designer purchase with all my own money, granted this was when Saks was still doing 10% off of your first purchase, no matter the brand, if you open a credit card so I ended up paying around $1450 for mine (you can guess how long ago this was). For the current price, though, I don't think I would purchase my WOC again. Don't get me wrong, I love it and still carry it, but I feel if you can do it, saving up for a mini or looking at another brand for a small bag might be more bang for your buck. Or consider looking at the pre-loved market.

Also, do you definitely want a wallet on a chain or just a small bag?
