I got one too but it was in Dec 08 (Cargo III's). I did it through online chat and the rep called me to get my credit card info. I got mine bc shoefly.com had a 50% off sale. The irony of the whole thing was I knew shoefly's inventory wasn't up to date on their website so I emailed them and they confirmed they didn't have my size . However, that actually worked in my favour because Nordies didn't know that. I did an online chat with them and they confirmed on the shoefly website (you could even 'check out' and pay for the uggs out, which sucked for people thinking they were actually getting them:shucks:), so they gave me the price match! It had to be the same size and brand/style.

I would say just keep trying but 3 people is a good try. Did you send them the link to the authorized dealers website? It's funny they wouldn't go for it then.

Good luck ladies. :woohoo:

Did anyone else get nordstroms.com to do a price match for these boots besides me????

The boots at Costco are not Bearpaws, at least the ones I saw weren't. The poster above said "Kirkland". I did read somewhere that the boots Costco has sold in the past may be manufactured in the same place as Ugg, but that may also be a rumor. I do like the brand, but in any case, as high quality as Ugg brand may be, you must admit a big part of that price is for the brand name, not based solely their high quality. Just my two cents. :)

^^ Right, the Costco boots are not Bearpaw, and do not look/feel like them either. Kirkland is Costco's own brand, and they are usually good quality. I did look over the boots and they seem softer than Bearpaws...more like Uggs.

I just bought for my daughter a pair UGGS-look-alike (She's 5) for $20 and it's made by China. UGGS and all other brands (supposingly from Australia like Menotaw (spelling???) are made from CHina anyway. HOw cost so much????

I need a new pair of Uggs, mine are almost 3 years old and they're WRECKED from being in the rain and snow. Luckily, I fit into the Kids size 4, so at least I can get them cheaper, but I still want a good sale. That first pair I bought, I had a 25% off coupon on Shoes.com that wasn't supposed to work on Uggs but did anyways. I got that pair for like $65 shipped or something close to that.
