I give full credit to my BFF for finding this one on her own with her SA. The H.com pics just don't do it justice. She has a cw that wouldn't work well for me, but when I saw "her" pattern in jewel tones. That's that!

Btw, too cool about the reverse on this! It really is like 2 scarves in one.

I thought the spring/summer season of scarves would pass by without tempting me, if only because the colors weren't the best for me. But then this color of Cavaliers du Caucase—Blanc/Turquoise/Orange—came along. Thank you to the tPFers who convinced me this should come home with me. It's a very happy summer scarf.

Love this - such a clever pattern pairing of the striped dress with the Cavaliers du Caucase - because the colours bring it all together.


Also like to thank you, Arabesques, for giving us the *** Knot & clear instructions on how to tie on your blog. It's such an elegant knot and displays so much of an Hermes scarf pattern. It's one of my favourites. Your knotting instructions for the friendship knot are awesome too.

I'm soooooo late to the PARTY..... I tired and tried to love the cw's of FLAMINGO PARTY I was able to get my paws on this past Spring... but nothing made my heart sing. Call me crazy but my was set on a PINK FLAMINGO!! There was only one cw that I never got to see IRL but about that time I went on a self-imposed ban and managed to stay away from the boutique for 6 whole months!!!! Well, last weekend I dropped by the boutique to see the Fall silks and sit with my SA to map out my Fall wish list items. Just then she said... wait, I have something on hold for you I forgot about. She brings a shawl box out and says I have had this on hold for you for over 3 months & I totally forgot to tell you... this is SO YOU. I said THREE MONTHS???? What is it??? She opened the box.... and out burst my new PINK FLAMINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took me a minute to fall in love with the green at the ends of the corners but seriously.... this shawl is AMAZING! Better LATE to the PARTY than NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR right?
