Thank you Mrs Owen. I'm a newbie so I didn't know all of this. I will definitely look. So how does it work? Do they keep selling scarves from previous seasons until they sell out or do they continue to produce the same designs for multiple years as long as they are popular? I thought the scarves in the store were all from this season but you have enlightened me. I have so much to learn.

Of course! I was new this time last year :D The only reason the season specific scarf threads are really helpful is if you fall in love with a design, you can see all the other colors these designs come in. And you can help enable new members as you did with
PerfumeGirl who loves your Chasse en Inde!!

So yes, they do keep selling scarves as long as there is stock. That's how you found your Chasse en Inde from Spring 13 in the bottom of a drawer. My boutique has a bag from 2010 in it's back room shelves, that's the beauty of H! It doesn't go out of style so the stock will be around for a while. A few scarves go to the sale each year in Paris and NY but not many styles and usually older ones.

Each year, in Spring and Fall there are two scarf collections. It includes some brand new designs and rereleases of old designs in new colors. H rarely repeats color ways so they're all new scarves twice a year. Last year I got my first Fall 14 scarf in July, my first Cashmere Fall 14 in August. I think I got my Spring 15 scarves in early January so that should give you some idea of timing of when the new collections start to arrive in stores. I'm in the US. Some scarves take all season to show up but some come in right away. The Fall 2015 collection is being discussed in this thread here

Some very helpful members share intel on the new season, we all seem to plot our purchases and eagerly wait for new info and photos to appear. I personally will go have a cookie and chat with my SA at the store to give her my wish list which looks to be a long one this year as I'm excited about the season. She shows me the scarf book if they have it and we write down what I'm interested in. When they arrive she lets me know and they're held for me so I can buy the ones that suit me as well as any she thinks I might like. I'll do this in the next few weeks by early June if the store has their scarf info. I hope this was helpful to you.

If you want to meet a lot of awesome and knowledgeable scarifies, the Scarf of the Day thread is a great place to look and post. Just be warned, their collections are amazing and they are always enabling :D

Thank you so much for this. My love for H has only been reinforced by the kind, knowledgable, stylish and and all around amazing ladies and gentlemen on this forum. I will definitely watch and learn this week as I have no scarves to fit the theme.

Me too!

Thank you Mrs Owen, as a newbie your post was super informative to me.

My Flamingo Party GM and I am in love! Thank you to the enablers (lanit, carlinha, Croisette) and especially ms piggy for all her suggestions and advice. It is a beautiful scarf and it gives me the feelings one should have from all H scarves - excitement and joy. Thanks for letting me share.
Huge photos and blotchy skin - please excuse.

You look so beautiful in this Flamingo Party, Maedi! I must confess that I chose this colorway too. After much speculation, waiting for colors and trying them on, this was the clear winner. An unusual combination of colors but it seems to go with so much. What fun to be twins with so many great scarfies! Congratulations on your lovely purchase.

Thank you, dear pierina. I am still entirely charmed by the colors: the greens, the turquoise blooms and the fuchsia are ingenious. The design is fab in the bigger size, too. I am thrilled to be twins with you. How is your beautiful garden? I counted three garter snakes today.

Thank you, Maedi, I'm also in love with the colors, especially the subtle flower combinations like the one in your first picture. No garden work here yet as I just got back from Florida and apparently it's been pretty dry. Rain is predicted tonight and tomorrow though so the weeds will be a little easier to get out! I wonder if your little snakes were a family? Happy gardening!

Looks great! So different depending on how you fold it.

Thanks so much S'Mom and pocketbook pup; you're very sweet. I was surprised at how beautifully it goes with this jacket! I was grabbing a black cardi and thought "heyyyy..." [emoji6]
