In and out in an hour at the boutique is a record for me... Lol . I still ended up with 3 CSGMs in that short time. 😳 Yikes! Here's my SS 15 contribution from yesterday. At first, I really was set back by the Potiron border... Just doesn't seem to go with the rest of the colors... But 2 SAs and 2 friends ALL said it was a must on me. And as much as I love orange and a rusty orange... I just went with it (even though I still thinks it's a weird color with those pinks and purples.).

I also picked up purple APdP cw10. Just been thinking about that since the last time I passed on it. But you all have seen that. And no mod pics yet.

jp, This is most definitely a KEEPER!!! I love the color combos! Really a beautiful and striking shawl. Look at how gorgeous it is with you beautiful dark hair. You had a great team with you to help you decide! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Thank you both! Sorry, yes, it's flamingo party cw 05 Potiron/mauve/rouge. I know someone posted here before too so I thought everyone would know already. My bad. :/. Can't remember who, but I know I'm twins with someone.

It's beautiful. It's jarring but in a pleasing way. Hot and cool.

Lol., yes, jarring. You're right... Potiron is so "warm" in color and yet the purples and pinks and rouge are "cool". That's exactly what it is... We'll see how I pull it all off.

Thank you croisette! Yes, cw 05 Potiron/mauve/rouge. And here I thought, how could I get another "Potiron" after I got BB in cw 06. Lol . Guess they're totally different. Potirons are different in the two Btw, when I was on biz trip last week and saw your beautiful post with purple velvet blazer, I thought "Yes!! That's exactly how I envisioned your pairing. So beautiful!!"

This shawl looks gorgeous jp_536...that's the beauty of Hermes though, putting together colors you never thought would be possible right?

It's actually quite stunning on you. You wouldn't think it but potiron with the fuchsia and purple complements each other so nicely here. Don't you love it when something that you don't normally reach for looks so fabulous on you? Where's the 3rd shawl? . Share please!

Thank you spylove and sugarmama! . Yes, somehow they've managed to make it work - I think. Lol . The 3rd shawl I got was black pdv from fall. That one I've been holding off, telling myself "no" because I already have 2 cws in CSGM and 2 cws in mousse!! But I couldn't get it out of my mind for the past few months! And then when I put it on again the other day, "BAM!" No way I was leaving it again. Lol . Luckily, when I tried on pink pdv again, it didn't sing to me as much. The purples didn't stand out as much as I thought.. And the design actually was more lost. Believe me, I wanted both. Lol . Relieved pink didn't sing to me. Hahaha.

Hi! I wanted to add this De La Mer au Ciel I picked up... haven't seen it posted yet.. it's the bleu/bruin/framboise CW. Am still debating between this or the one with more mint green in the middle... any advice please??? I wear mainly black, white, red, and gray (or jewel tones, no pastels for me.) TIA!

Thanks LB!! It helped that the boutique allows pics now, so I was able to text my usual H partner in crime to ask her what she thought too. I wanted her to say "no" bc of the rusty Potiron, but she said "yes" too. Hahaha... (I figured, the 2 SAs may not be telling the whole truth, and my friend who was with me, isn't a scarfie, so I needed a 4th opinion.) Lol

Thanks for sharing velvetfist! I think it's been posted but no mod pics. So this helps a lot!! I'm torn with you. I tried the mint green one on the other day. But the upper left corner has ALOT of black. Which may work for you... But I thought it was a bit too dark for me. Jury is still out for me bc I DO love all the greens in that one.

I love the greys and blues in the one you have. It looks great against your black sweater. . Good luck on your decision.

I love the rust rolled hems on the one I have... and I guess it makes it more wearable with browns or camel? I had the lovely PdV in black but it was a little too much solid dark green for me to wear on the borders, so I exchanged it for this.

I haven't been able to try the mint green one in person yet.....

Although, I am not a GREEN person, personally I LOVE the mint green in the second pic, such a great contrast with the black in this 90cm! Quite a difficult decision, velvet. Let us know what you decide!

LOL. Ok, edited back in! I should add that I wanted this shawl to be a 'general all purpose go with everything' for when i travel. (I try to travel light... its a challenge!) So if it can go with everything depending on how i fold it, it'll be my keeper.

Both are lovely. For me, I do love the mint + greens and blues in the shawl. It may also pop out more against your wardrobe. Have fun playing!

This is beautiful on you, so warm to your colouring. The other cw is lovely too, but I would say cooler tones, especially the green in the middle which would be closest to your face.They both go with your wardrobe colours: one is warm and the other cool - whichever lights you up!
Also, is the one you are wearing an all year round shawl, and the other cw more A/W ??
Just food for thought, decisions, decisions ...............:wondering
