Hi, mia *waves*. Glad to see you back here. I love La Mer in cw 01 and cw 12 too. I think cw 01 is a bit more fresh and I love the lila details in it.
But cw 12 has that fabulous border and it's quite interesting too.
Oh, I love aPdP too....and Flamingo Party. But I allow myself just one new shawl this season, which is going to be hard I am afraid :sweatdrop:.

Hey dear!!! How are you doing? Yes it's been a long long time! Life is just so busy after my pregnancy and our relocation, and my youngest one is almost 2 now! Aw......one new shawl this season is impossible dear! You need to have at least 1 colour for each of the design you mentioned. :graucho: I just found out that I have the 90cm De La Mer silk scarf which is in purple and orange! Maybe I should just skip the CW13 of the shawl and just get CW01 and CW12....what do you think? But then the purple CW13 shawl is sooooo pretty too! :p I think if you want to get only 1 colour for De La Mer shawl, CW01 is the way to go if you like it to be more vibrant, or CW12 if you like it to be more neutral with a pop of colour. In any case, can't go wrong with any of them! ;)

Mia,

Haven't seen you for ages! Glad you are back! It's been a long time since your last reveal, and I have been looking forward to seeing your "loot". Please do share! :woohoo::woohoo:

Hey Darma dear!!!! Indeed it has been ages! How's everything? Miss the gang here too! Now I share my reveals on my Instagram more because I have privatised my account there and I feel "safer" to share there after so many incidents of internet strangers stealing my photos here. But I shall try to post here again when time permits! Just need to figure out how to enhance my watermarks. ;)

Hello everyone. I'm putting the finishing touches on freshening up our Master Bedroom (new bedding, new paint, new accessories). I have decide to frame a Hermes Scarf and have it narrowed to Un Jardin Anglais in CW 08 or CW 11. Both colorways would look equally lovely, but which do you feel the most interesting framed? I can't decide. TIA for your opinion! :)

My choice would be the green for the "pop" of color....it's a GORGEOUS CW!

What's your color scheme? Wall color, etc.?

I'm keeping things pretty neutral with some pops of color. Two complementary shades of cream for the ceiling and walls with bright white trim. I have a tall dark antique walnut wardrobe, black distressed dressers, and a tall sleigh bed made from antique pine. I'm doing a white quilt/shams. I have two antique Audubon prints hanging over a mercury glass lamp with Ivory silk shade on the nightstand. Over the bed is my collection of 16 Sid Dickens tiles I bought right out college. I like to mix old and new, and I am heading for a more simple bright bedroom. I had it painted previously with dark walls/ceiling during a divorce and while beautiful it was time for a change since I married my sweet DH in June.:smile1: The only issue I'm currently working on with DH is getting rid of the ceiling fan to replace with a lovely light fixture. I believe that is going to be an uphill battle. haha. :graucho:

BTW I love your kitty! My first kitty was a beautiful siamese. :smile1:

I'm loving the green colorway, but with a neutral color palette, either one is good. But I'd probably look for a simple frame that's the color of the silk. That would look awesome!

-Yes, my kitty Chloe is a little diva. I wouldn't be surprised if I came home one day and caught her wearing some of my H silks.

Although these two scarves are beautiful, I would not use either one in this room,
especially with antique Audubons and a sleigh bed. Sid Dickens is all over the place in his designs too.

I don't think they are up to standards of "framable", but it is your room and I am
probably speaking out of turn .Agree that a fabulous light fixture would make the room.
Better quit now as I am already in trouble

Oh no!!! This whole pic won't load for me, I can only see the top edge, and from what I can see this scarf is amazing! Will try again later...

ETA I was able to open it through clicking the link above ^ in quotes! This colorway is beautiful! Congrats, Croisette, I am looking forward to seeing how you will style it.

FP is supposed to be my other buy for this season but I may just end up with two Les Perroquets.

I died when I saw the intricate details. Could you tell me the year of prediction? TIA xx
