yes, it is from her Aube period. i am sure you will rock that scarf. :smile1:

Thank you, seton! I know these more modern styles aren't for everyone, but right now Hermes seems to be doing a good job of offering contemporary designs right alongside the more traditional subjects that are the backbone of Hermes. I love both looks, unfortunately for my wallet.

Thank you Uno for your wonderful scarf news!

I'm looking forward to seeing Maison Carre IRL as it reminds me so much of Laboratoire du Temps and I like the sound of the De la Mer au Ciel as a GM.

ITA! I think that complex, diagonal layout will be GENIUS in a large format!!!

Totally agree, Scarf Addict and Mindi! The De la Mer au Ciel design will look amazing in a GM and can't wait to see the CWs.

70 scarf

Millefleurs du Mexique - lots of little petals, ferns, and foliage that make up a few mid-sized horses in the dense scarf. The petals and foliage are in the style shown here.

THANK YOU, UNO! I have a collection of this type of pottery! Looks like a MdM will find its way to my neck! :smile1:

a CSGM of Point d'orgue
Or even a mousseline. Or a twilly

Miss Melora, your dream is gonna to come true this spring!
We will leave it to you to dream about which format!

I am just now reading through this thread and got to this part - MELORA!! I am so excited for you! :yahoo: Selfishly, I hope it's a twilly - I would be all over that!

Ah, I see it's a GM mousseline. :)

Mousseline GMs
Urashima Taro - Artist is Natsuno Hidaka. The scarf design is a combination of Turnadot and Fleurs d'Indiennes. Lots of flowers with patterns on the petals, but smaller than the flowers we see in Fleur d'Indiennes. In the corners are a young man riding the turtle, a dragon (same style as in Turandot), a crane, Tibetan-style clouds, a rooster, the young princess, a pagoda. And in one corner, sadly, the old man. The story is so charming, google it.

Hi Uno,
Is the bikini below made from the Urashima Taro design?

Thank you, thank you UNO! :yahoo::woohoo:
I'm very much looking forward to seeing Urashima Taro IRL - my husband and I got engaged while traveling in Japan, and it would be wonderful to have a Japanese-themed H scarf in my collection.

For the 90s, I agree that La Maison des Carres could be very cute IRL - I love my Laboratoire du Temps, and it has that same vibe. As always, it will depend on the colors.
I'm also intrigued by Les Jardins d'Angleterre and Cavaliers du Caucase (I must be boring ;)).

I'm also wondering if Uno could tell us what the scarf in the yellow circle is - the colors are tempting!http://forum.purseblog.com//www.pinterest.com/pin/create/extension/
