Croisette, your BB is wonderful. Do you wear all colors or have favorites?

Mimi, this is most special. As a pink fan I adore these colors. I think it is time Hermes reissue a LeDoux design.

Rainneday, I saw Parakeets GM silk on line. It is a beauty!

Papertiger, your gardens sound lovely. I grow and "collect" heritage roses (have about 70) but my garden is pretty unkempt - I cannot control the grass.

I can neither narrow down a color nor a design. I want either Flamingo Party, Jardin Anglais, CdeCaucase or the Leopards.

The lack of rolled edges has never bothered me—especially as they're meant to go on the beach and in the sea water. This makes them so easy to care for, plus the cotton is so lovely.

I agree, their cotton is so gorgeous! The weave is so very fine, and beautifully smooth. I don't find rolled edges on their cotton scarves hard to care for, but I suppose a machine finished edge would be easier, allowing one to iron right over the hem. Do you find the pareos drape well, if used as a scarf or shawl?

My new love for this season: A l'Ombre des Boulevards cw12. It mixes the past and current in the cute characters. Detail and subtle. And reminds me the Les Ponts de Paris. Thanks for letting me share!

Great choice! It looks great on you!
My SA shared the story with me and I fell in love with it. I got CW23 😊

And I forgot Maison du Carré.

Oh no I  it, I didn't appreciate the design in other cws, that kind of 'cute' I can do but luckily this colour doesn't suit me at all :D (I have an old expensive, unworn, leather jacket almost this colour to prove it :smash:)

You are very lucky mimi, because that looks totally wonderful on you

Sounds wonderful (literally) and so romantic. I don't mind long or unkept grass. My roses are modern (and yellow) but I'd prefer old ones, there is a bit more room, I just can't decide the colour. I've planted lavender all around the beds of the second terrace (that sound huge but it's a tiny long thin garden in 4 parts) and I want something to blend with the white/pale pink wild roses that grow up the tree at the back. I think I might just buy a lJA :D

I have been avoiding this thread trying to resist temptation :sweatdrop: and also having a hard time as it is moving at lighting speed!

But I don't think there have been any Flamingo Party shawls posted yet?

My boutique got 2 in yesterday and 1 came home with me  it will make a lovely pairing with a few of my bags

Flamingo Party 140cm cashmere shawl
CW09 blanc/vert/fuchsia

Will post modeling pics soon...

The other colorway I saw I didn't get a chance to look at the number, but the border was a burnt sienna color, middle colors were tones of red and orange... Very "fall" feel to it...

OMG, I am in love!! Quick question - is the background color grey, black or something entirely different? I want to call my SS and give her a heads up on this - love it to bits!!

Can't wait to see your modeling pix!!

Hello Beautiful Enablers of Hermes Textiles!
I came home with some goodies, today! Two of Alice Shirley's Dans un Jardin Anglais rose vif/ vert/ mauve (06) and rouge/violet/turquoise (15). I also fell for Comme Hermes Rose/Bleu/Creme. (I also picked up an oldie but a goodie... Pique Fleuri de Provence in (07) capucine/framboise/turquoise. I didn't get any PFdP the first time it came out because I couldn't decide on a colorway. I won't post that one here since this is not from the current collection.) Thanks for letting me contribute!!! This is going to be an expensive spring. SO MANY ON MY WISH LIST.

Love these, LB!! I have fallen hard for the Jardin Anglais in spite of the fact that my twills are out of control. I love the one you have with the greens and blues and will try to find that one!!

Enjoy all of your beauties!!!

This is gorgeous, Mimi! I had to cancel my trip to Paris last week, so I asked a friend to bring me one of these. I love Ponts de Paris as well. If only they would release enamel bracelets in this print!!

Enjoy this beauty!!

OK quick modeling pic... I actually walked out of the store yesterday with the shawl on already :p temps had dropped and i was excited to use it!!

again here it is flat:
Flamingo Party 140 cm cashmere shawl CW09 blanc/vert/fuchsia

and here it is tied haphazardly in a cowboy knot... not the best, i threw it on quickly, but you get the idea :p this shawl reminds me of Ex Libris en Kimonos where each corner is different since it is an asymmetric design, and depending on how you tie it, it will look different each way. i love the fuchsia peeking out and framing my face

2 other random ways,
less fuchsia

more fuchsia
