Hello Beautiful Enablers of Hermes Textiles!
I came home with some goodies, today! Two of Alice Shirley's Dans un Jardin Anglais rose vif/ vert/ mauve (06) and rouge/violet/turquoise (15). I also fell for Comme Hermes Rose/Bleu/Creme. (I also picked up an oldie but a goodie... Pique Fleuri de Provence in (07) capucine/framboise/turquoise. I didn't get any PFdP the first time it came out because I couldn't decide on a colorway. I won't post that one here since this is not from the current collection.) Thanks for letting me contribute!!! This is going to be an expensive spring. SO MANY ON MY WISH LIST.

Oh my ladybaga these scarves are gorgeous...I can see why you picked two of Jardin Anglais, how to choose just one right??? I agree this is going to be an expensive spring as well, the first time I have wanted at least two CW of the same design :smile1:

You guys are the worst (best?) influence!

So, I absolutely had to get my hands on Cavaliers du Caucase. I loved cw 09, but this colour way wasn't available anywhere in Canada. I don't have a red/purple Hermes scarf, so I ordered the rouge/vert/violet cw 03 and had it delivered to the Hermes store in Toronto.

While I was there, I tried the Piqué Fleuri de Provence in cw 11....which also ended up coming home with me.

Some super quick pics for your guys!

Can't seem to attach more than one picture when posting via mobile, so here's the Piqué Fleuri de Provence in cw 11.

Two gorgeous choices OKComputer, I am also wanting the Cavalier de Caucase in the 09 CW, but to no avail yet. So in my panic I have ordered the same with black background and hope it looks as stunning as your red one...I was torn between the black and the red, you did very well!!

OK quick modeling pic... I actually walked out of the store yesterday with the shawl on already :p temps had dropped and i was excited to use it!!

again here it is flat:
Flamingo Party 140 cm cashmere shawl CW09 blanc/vert/fuchsia

and here it is tied haphazardly in a cowboy knot... not the best, i threw it on quickly, but you get the idea :p this shawl reminds me of Ex Libris en Kimonos where each corner is different since it is an asymmetric design, and depending on how you tie it, it will look different each way. i love the fuchsia peeking out and framing my face

2 other random ways,
less fuchsia

more fuchsia

looks beautiful on you!! (especially with your CDC bracelet) :D
Gorgeous photos spylove...very enabling to see this tied in different ways!

Looking so chic as always.

hahahaha you're doing good! hey at least we are getting the shopping done before the price increase? :p

thank you so much spylove!

hahahaha i know right? i have been trying diligently to avoid this thread, but now getting sucked back in, i MUST RESIST!!!! well, maybe one jardin moussie and then i am DONE! (i hope :sweatdrop:)

thank you so much cherryblossum, my pleasure to share as it helps me a lot too to see everyone's modeling pics!

You must get a Jardin moussie! So soft and feminine. I think it would be hard to choose just one of those, too!

Ladybaga, these are all brilliant on you! Huge congrats!

Thank you rainneday! I took a peek at your Parakeets online and this is beautiful! Please show us a mod pic when you receive it. Those blues make me swoon!

Ha Ladybaga, you are a woman after my own heart! You always pick such amazing scarves and they always suit you so well. Those DuJA twills are soooo lovely on you, literally pretty as a picture. I like the design because although it's busy, because it's a garden it gets away with it, plus interesting border, now I can't wait until more come into the stores so I can try more cws on. Comme Hermes looks great on you too, very interesting to see (I have been wearing my 70s a lot recently). Congratulations on each and every one, I hope you find all the ones your looking for on your wishlist.

I agree, yet another must have scarf. It looks so vibrant and rich, full of joie de vivre!
papertiger, You always make me feel like a million dollars! Thank you for your complements! I agree that the busy design makes it so interesting. I keep finding new details that I missed when I first saw the scarf. A must for any garden lover. It also ties beautifully as one can highlight various colors on the corners. (Side note: I read your "Storing Scarves" article on your blog! Thank you for the information! I learned so much from you.)

I started buying H only two years ago but I've noticed I buy much more SS. Maybe the colors and designs tend to attract me more. Does anyone else experience this?

Hi vivelebag!
Yes, I tend to buy more in the spring because of the bright colors and whimsical designs. However, I buy plenty in the fall, too. :smile1: Sorry that I just contradicted myself. I started buying in 2010 and still own the first scarf that I ever purchased. I think I am more selective now, but find myself buying duplicates if I can't decide between colorways. I somehow justify that one color will suit me best for Fall and the other for Spring. Go figure! Hahahaha!

Thank you Bova! I completely understand!

Looking so chic as always.

Thank you SugarMama!!! You are too kind!

You Look so cute in both Jardin Anglais!! Sigh... I agree, an expensive spring indeed!!

Thank you cherryblossum! I know! My SA told me to prepare for a great season!

Absolutely gorgeous, LB!

Yes, a very expensive season, indeed. For the last 4 or 5 years, all seasons have been that way with H. I do not remember an inexpensive one. They've created some stunning scarves with vibrant colors and intricate designs...it's been draining my account....but in a good way, I think ;)

Thank you BridesdeGala! HAHAHA! Yes! I think I say, "This is my favorite season." with EVERY season!

:hugs: DD had fun "shopping" with you, although I hope you didn't ask her advice on which scarf to choose..the answer would always be "the pink one!" Jardins Anglais is a surprise favorite for me. I don't usually go for the busier all over designs, but I love the peacocks and the little critters. I'm pretty sure I'll end up with at least two cws! A successful day at Hermes, and a guaranteed spot on Ban Island for me!

She was so cute! I think she was hoping you would pick up that pink Jardin mousse! It's never too late.... :smile1: I was so excited that you pointed out the peacocks! My favorite one is the one climbing up the tree trunk! I think this is the "Where's Waldo" scarf of the season! What a fun day! (I'll sit with you on the plane to Ban Island!)

So great to see your smiling face! We are twins on the jardin anglais cw 06. Love the other CW too! My boutique didnt have that CW to confuse my decision! LOL

Like this CW too! It has a lot of same colors as CW 09.
