Fabulous! So happy to see this on another guy since I am considering the pattern [although likely in gavroche in order to save my wallet! haha] :D

I keep telling myself I am going to sit out this collection and then the wave pattern on the BF keeps popping up and enticing me.

The 28 cw of Flamingo Party is very pretty! The 09 caught my eye too, but I think I'm going for the 07. I don't have anything in a pink/turquoise cw yet and I saw it in the store and it was beautiful tied. :hbeat:

So far I'm taken by the cw 01,03, 05, and 08 Millefleurs, but I can't get them all lol! Yours is just beautiful. :smile1:

Hi all,

I wanted to post mod shots of my CW 11 De la Mer. I never wear pastels and the Rose in this CW is making me wonder if I should keep it. I love the crisp white, blue, turquoise and black accents but I don't love the shade of rose. All the other color ways seem to have heavy amounts of orange accents which I'm not sure would suit me so I have a feeling this is the best CW for me. I love this design so much, I'm just not sure I will reach for it as often due to the rose. I wear mostly denim, black and white. Thanks for your thoughts!

I tried to take photos of each of the corners and I usually only wear cowboy style.

The other colorway I saw I didn't get a chance to look at the number, but the border was a burnt sienna color, middle colors were tones of red and orange... Very "fall" feel to it...

It looks good on you, Mrs. O. I wouldn't worry about the rose as it is very minimal in comparison to the rest of the colors. It adds a little bit of softness and dimension to this colorway.

I agree with Bostonjetset. I love the soft pink in this shawl, it adds a touch of feminity and compliments the blues. Twinsies with you btw!

Love this De La Mer Au Ciel on you, MrsO. :faint:

The rose adds just a little contrast, enough to make the different hues of blue pop. It's a keeper IMO and looks great with denim.

If the rose bothers you such that you won't wear it as much, then maybe it's not for you, but it certainly goes with denim, black and white, so it won't clash or cause a problem with what you usually wear. Maybe this will force you to go outside your comfort zone a little? It certainly looks good on you! :yes:

I agree with the others, the rose adds dimension and softens the design.
It's a beautiful cw and perfect with denim. You look terrific!

it looks AMAZING on you!! i vote KEEP, i think this CW looks great with denim, black and white!!

the rose in it is not prominent at all.... but you have to LOVE it for these prices....

MrsOwen3...this is my favorite cw of this design too, and it looks like you've managed to hide the rose accents in some of your photos. I LOVE it against your denim shirt. :heart: If this helps at all, there are quite a few H shawls in my collection that have some colors that don't work on me, but I've loved the design so much and the other colors in the mix, that I've managed to learn how to them to hide the colors I don't love. I hope you keep it, especially since you love the design so much.
