I recently returned from traveling through southwest Germany and France and would love to share with you some of my long sought after silks this season! My first is one that I fell in love with at the beginning of the season, but hadn't found yet. I love the whimsical feel and, of course, the gorgeous colors. I bought her in my favorite spa town, Baden Baden, so the bathing beauties have special meaning to me!

Along the way, I was sidetracked with my first Mousseline! Naturally! It is an Ors Bleus D Afrique, but since it is from 2013 I will post in the mousseline clubhouse. What a beauty though!
The next scarf really was the most elusive silk for me this season...don't we always have that one!
After visiting countless boutiques, I finally made my way to Marseilles. The Le Voyage De Pytheas really was a fitting scarf for me to hunt down! ha! It was love at first sight. The Le Voyage I purchased (the only one they had at the Marseilles boutique) is the cw made especially for the Marseilles boutique. The colors are so fitting with the blues of the water and the sunny, happy feeling.

I had to end with Fur Baby surveying the port of Marseilles! My best silky partner in crime!

VH, LOVING your selections! Those bathing beauties are donned in my favorite colors! This is, indeed, a happy scarf! I also love your LVdP!!! Jahna, thank you! I am so sorry for my poor pic quality. They don't do either scarf justice. Do you know, after looking in 7 boutiques for le Voyage, I only saw one other, but in cw 7! That one is also gorgy! They look much more beautiful in real life

You are so right, it really does give a scarf special meaning when it is made for a certain boutique! We did have an amazing time. Lots of new memories and people to remember. Fur baby is really a great shopping buddy....as long as he gets treats and the temps don't get too hot! Ha!

! I am so excited to see which cw you have selected. They are much more gorgeous, like most scarves, in person. It is just so hard to capture the true essence with my phone camera. The SA at the Marseilles boutique said my cw was made to made to match the water and feel of the area. I think they captured it well too!
Vitamina, we are cousins on the Voyage scarf also....my favorite of the season, and a long wait til my H store got only two in....I have the lighter blue version. Love the intricate details and asymmetrical border!Canuck, thank you! It was an amazing journey
