Scarf1: The composition of this particular scarf is:
67% cotton/ 21% silk/ 12% cashmere
its light, soft and has that irresistible shine to it... compared to the others cotton/silk scarfs, maybe it is not as "sleek"... meaning the 12% cahsmere add some "structure" to it...

I have this "theory" that H releases one or two CW of one design only in one part of the world at a time. (This raises the hype and the demand) of course, thank to us global lurkers and posters... I have also have had my thoughts about not beeing able to get , or at least have the opportunity to buy, everyting you "see"... with time you get use to it... There was a green CW of "Tous les Bateaux..." as a SC GM that I was wanting to see so bad... and it practically did not existed in this country!
I have only been offered an international tracking once, in Copenhagen! but never here in Germany... I am glad they can do that for you in Paris... well after all... it is paris... and you are Anfang!!! :cool:

Hi WValencia! How exciting to be choosing your first 90! I haven't seen this one IRL but some pix were posted on this thread a few weeks back (sorry don't have exact date or link) and it looks gorgeous. Definitely try it on and see what colors work for you and if you love it, it's the one!

My dear, you nailed it! I was with you on this green Tous les Bateaux... I find terrible to have to make my SAs' life mouldy, just to be able to get what I want. My men's dept SA fell head over heels seeing this one, and couldn't understand why this one had not been ordered in France! Do you find this normal?? And yes, I'm Anfang! I'm old, and super stubborn. Moreover, you know what we say here? What a woman wants, God wants! :laugh:

I am new to Hermes scarves. I saw the del la Mer au Ciel and Fleurs et Papillons de Tissus in 140cm silk this week. I am kind of bummed that I have already gotten them in 90cm silk or cashmere shawl. I wish I could have known what materials and size they would come in ahead of time, so I could plan my collection better. This is not possible, is it?

If you haunt this forum, it is not impossible that the designs and sizes expected for the upcoming season may be revealed. :ninja:
Failing that, your SA should be willing to tell you, if you have a decent relationship. Mine knows I will buy many different sizes/materials, so she is kind enough to share with me what is expected in advance of new season shipments.
