The first time I saw the Phoenix in the store, I didn't buy it, thinking it was a bit green for me. But I couldn't get it out of my head and had to get back and get it! View attachment 2581890

I tried the same CW of Mythiques Phoenix yesterday and was verrry tempted, but went for the anthracite instead. I also snagged Quadri in CW 06. Love!

So many great designs and colorations this season. I'm breaking my H piggy bank!

Coup de Fouet Colorway 10 140 summer silk - Encre/Violet/Rose Indien

Superlatives are not enough, you can see from the photo how perfect this is on you

BTW, heart over head, we are now Coeur de la Vie twins too

This scarf (cw16 ecru/vert/brique) came to me by mistake (meant to order the light pink one cw15). But I think it's meant to be mine when I saw it and tried on. I smell multiple cws of this scarf in my collex, sigh (my wallet is upset at me)... Twins with dooneybaby.
I also saw the one with what I thought was pink background, but turned out to be salmon background that is more into orange territory, so I had to pass for the time being. Until it grows on me...
The background was described as ecru in the barcode tag, but it looks very much tinted in green, like a few drops of chartreuse in a cup of cream if you will.
I do have a whole ton of navy tops and skirts to match with this scarf, .

These are not in store yet, it's so distinctive and cute, it reminds me of the 1950s for some reason.

Just the pure colours of Quadri are breathtaking, sometimes silk and colour need nothing else

The clean lines where one color starts and the other begins are amazing. Perfect craftsmanship, reminiscent of the Josef Albers limited edition scarves.

I saw all the cws yesterday and 16 was a no-brainer, they are my natural colours...however I went for the Noir/Rouge/Gris 04, just because it fills a hole in my scarf-wardrobe so perfectly

I need to find a minute to take some photos IRLas I don't think these standard pics do the scarf justice because the highlights and shadows of the silk lend so much to this design, both abstract and figurative all at once. Until then here is a pic from dimitri r's own website (I love how teeny-tiny he's signed his name on the scarf)...

Aloha! In Hawaii currently. Went to Waikiki store and found what I have been looking for : love this CW of La Mer au Ciel:

I was also looking for a blue Voyage de Pytheas in a blue or darker CW, but they only had green CW which didn't do much for me.

This is such an amazing piece and it looks divine with that top!!!!

So next day visited Ala Moana store, still no voyage de Pytheas, but ended up with 2 more scarves. The Mors & G remix was a bit outside my comfort zone, but SA and DH really liked it on me, and it is quite different from anything else.
Sorry for messy knot, was trying on quickly...

Haha DH says no more scarves for awhile!!

Luckily, we are now on Big Island,so no more H stores for this trip!
