5) Chefs Indiens

Bust portraits of 15-20 American Indian chief heads all around the scarf. Elaborate headdresses. A folkish turtle in the center. All portraits are presented in an oval frame. When the scarf is tied, the audience will be looking at the faces of the chiefs (meaning, the images won't be upside down to the audience). Kermit Oliver is the artist.

6) Name not confirmed yet

It is a modern design. A solid color background with 6 free form shapes in the center of the scarf. The shapes look like bread loaves, minus the seeds - just shapes!). The shapes are all the same color. A lot of dead space in this one.

7) Bouquets Sellier

In each corner is a bouquet of flowers wrapped in cellophane. The stems are leather belts and horse bits. The flowers are horse heads in the style of a carnival horse. When tied the image will be upside down to the audience. The edges of the cellophane wrapper on each bouquet has a different pattern (stripes, squares, chevrons).

8) Les Faceties de Pegase

A side profile of a winged horse, similar to Cheval de Legende. Hundreds of facets make up the design. The horse, background, and border are all made out of facets.

9) De La Mer au Ciel

An underwater scene drawn on a diagonal (like the Marche Flottant du Lac Inle scarf).
Fish and plant life are shown underwater, while the sky shows fish jumping out of the water, turning into birds, and then diving back into the water as flying fish. The surface of the water is a swirling motion, similar to rain drop puddles.

10) Le Voyage de Phyteas

An old world map with an inset of Massalia, the modern day shipping port known as Marseille. Cute and small animals are placed on the land masses, while the ocean has small whales and dolphin swimming. A few Massalia coins are on the scarf, a mosaic jug is in the corner. Two of the borders are thin mosaics (scrolling wave pattern, a checkered pattern). Two of the borders are very thick (4 inches?) borders showing a very elaborate mosaic design of several fish and several octopus arms swirling about. The mosaics are done very nicely. The tiles are orderly and tightly packed together with very little grout showing (as opposed to the Pavement scarf).

Wow... can't wait to see this one!

11) Le Bal Des Oiseaux

About 100 cartoon birds are placed randomly on the scarf in all different directions. Most are shown in a side profile standing on the ground, but a few are flapping their wings. Thin ferns are scattered about the scarf, with a dense collection of ferns in the center.
