As you said in your first post, three different SAs told me that day that this is their best season in 10 years (the store manager also told me that when I bumped into her at Holts), so hold onto your hats and wallets everyone, we're in for a bumpy ride!

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised by this cw. Originally my SA had pulled the black/red cw, but it's a bit too dark for me.

HfromT, you're so funny! No need to apologize, there are soooo many beautiful new silks this season it's ridiculous! Did you also hear that FW'14 is unimpressive? It made me feel a bit better if I stock up now and save later in the year.

someone already answered, it is not actually embroidered. I've seen in IRL, and although it's not physically embroidered, there is a softness to the belts/bridles/saddles that is not present in any of the other versions (bcuz it's a "painting" of embroidery...if that makes any sense). I actually like this rendition of BdG more than past issues--it stays true to the original design, w/out extra ornament, just a little softer.
