Hmm intersting. Maybe that is the thing~I bought three last week at 310 and not all mens but maybe that is how it came out...strange.

I can't imagine that H would go to the trouble to produce the plates for 140s unless they were going to issue them at some point.
Instructions du Roy has been issued in the 140 before, as a c/s, but I don't believe that
Tresors Has been issued as a 140...yet...
Perhaps this "display" piece is an indication of a 140 TR to come, maybe in the fall?

I would love a TR in a 140! I passed on a 90 already because I really wanted something a bit bigger. I would be one of the first in line for such a scarf.

As far as I know neither L'Instruction du Roy nor TR is coming out this S/S season in a 140 GM (big sigh!) but as you rightly say, H wouldn't produce the plates if they weren't to re-issue them at some point (fingers crossed for next Fall!)!

So far I've only see the 2 cw for promenade de faubourg on the H europe website, neither is this pastel! Congrats and thank you for sharing, they are beautiful!

I can still find some patterns in the new editions that I like but I definitely think the silk has become thinner and softer and wrinkles more quickly. It is not just the starching of the older ones, the silk is thicker. My latest Galop Chromatique has a very thin, almost flimsy feel.

Hi Maedi -- I totally agree. I just got two of the SS13 90 x 90s and the silk feels closer to the 70 vintage silks, rather than the other earlier 90s i have.

Do you think this is a trend or maybe they had problems with the silk this year(which my SA told me can happen and is the reason why sometimes we are left without large stocks of the scarves)?

hi ladies i see a bit of talk about the echec au roi and i picked one up yesterday... may i just say i am absolutely IN LOVE with this design in this colorway! i knew i wanted something in this design but wasn't sure on the CW... this was interesting from stock pics and hanging, but needless to say, it was LOVE AT FIRST TRY for me ... i think it ties sooooo amazingly well and depending how you fold/wear it, different colors are emphasized! the colors are all so very "me" as well and look really good against my skintone. the brilliance of H!

anyway here are some pics i managed to take between last night and today...
