I didn't see the tag, but I would say it's the bleu gris/parme/bleu colorway as scarfmischief has listed. Sort of like the colors in this chart.

I'll give them a call when the store opens and ask.

You are a sweetheart, Hermes Nuttynut, thank you very much. :flowers::flowers:

Thanks Hermes Nuttynut. I love the design too, and the clever way that this stole has 3 central groupings of hunters in darker colors and a circular pattern. Clever H!

What other colors were in the purple one, and what sort of purple was it if you recall?

I just called. The colorway is 01 - bleu gris/parme/bleu. :smile1:

BTW - She put me on hold for a minute, and for a couple seconds, the hold music had a horse whinnying in the background.

Here are the colorways for the other mousseline stoles that are coming:

Quadrige:

01 bleu glacier/vert/kaki

03 jaune citron/kaki /vert fluo

06 lipstick/corail/rouge

07 poudre irise/jaune/ gris

10 rose the(tea)/orange/gris

Galop chromatique:

04 lipstick/ rouge/ prune

11 marine/ turquoise/ ciel

? rose the/bleu gris/pudre

? ecru rose/mauve/gris bleute

.
Oooo la la! Thank you for brightening my day, scarfmischief! These will be some of H's best,,,,can't wait for more photos! :smile1::smile1:

Thanks, scarfmischief! I think the mousselines in Galop Chromatique will be beautiful!

^^ I'm glad I could make everybody happy with this information! The credit must go to my good friend who gave me the information.

I am very keen to get some of these stoles (many!).

I have come to the conclusion that, out of all my H loot, I love the stole size the best. That means cashmere stoles, che che stoles, mousseline stoles.

What I need H to make now is silk twill stoles.

Given all the pictures of the 90 squares stitched together in H's scarf book I wonder if you could have three 90's or four70's sewn together to make your own silk twill stole? It might be fun to try, I could do that with some of my really really old ones. If they were carefully sewn you could just pull out the seam if the idea didn't work.

Or H could dream up some magical system to temporarily attach scarves to each other! :graucho:

I think this is a brilliant idea! I couldn't do it, but I bet someone out there has the sewing skills to pull it off.
