D Lee, I am coveting your entire collection!!!! This cw is so pretty - perhaps the nail polish I just posted in the nail polish match thread (Nars Pokerface) would match your scarf? I am obsessed with mauves, purples and golds = so rich looking. Congrats! (and your hair looks lovely!)

I've made a decision to try and get all the CWs. While I know I won't wear then all, I just love the design.

I'm heading into the store on Sat where I've got one on hold. I was on the phone today to the SA and he advised there are more coming in, so I am going to put my name down on the wait-list.

Thx, papertiger! I believe I have seen all the cws of this design at various times since Jan. Yes, all are pretty but it is just that the heart desires more what it could not get!:smile1:

Thx, Jahna! I was a little surprised myself as well! I purchased this cw because I knew I had no chance to lay my hands on my favourite cw18. Now I begin to believe that I might still have chosen this if the two cws had been there side by side for me to choose!:smile1:

Thx kittyhawk, I love your Nars Pokerface as well as your ring. Both would surely go well with my cw30 Mexique. ;)I never had anything mauve or lavendar in my life(other than the label of my catfood) so I found the scarf color slightly strange in the beginning. Now I am beginning to love it. And regarding my hair, I must announce that it will soon look lovely as I have just made an appointment with my hair stylist! Thx for the compliment!:roflmfao:

I have to say this is not a favorite design of mine- never was drawn to it nor bought the original issue but this cw folds really well and looks gorgeous on you D Lee

Thx toujours chic! I am surprised myself as well. Some scarves look completely different when tied. The first thing that caught my attention was the statue in this Mexique design. The disappointment is I am unable to show the statue unless I wear it as a scarftop, which I never do. I bought this Mexique purely on the color combination. I am beginning to love mauve & lavender because they look rather good on me!

It really is beautiful the way you have it tied- I agree the color combination and juxtaposition are visually stunning. I may have to reconsider next time I am at my favorite Hermes watering hole.

I was always told that mauve and lavendar will "pop" green or blue eyes. I find them to be really easy colors to wear, also purple which can be more forgiving than black. Not as stark.....IMO

Thx bjostone, life is sometimes full of happy coincidences. I had waited & waited for Mexique cw18 for two months in vain. I finally bought the mauve/lavender cw30 out of hopelessness. I had never imagined in a million years that it would have looked anything better than OK! Now that I have discovered these colors, I would have more options the next time I refresh my wardrobe!:D

If you have blue/green/ grey eyes maybe even hazel, those "pinks" will pop them. If you are a brunette I think those beautiful berry mauves look gorgeous................... I know you will be your gorgeous self whatever......................seriously though, if those colors work for you, the Camails came in two wonderful colors - one was purples, the other was those lavendars and complimentary colors. Stay beautiful, and I agree life is full of happy coincidences, that I rarely find to be random...........
