OH MY!!! LOVE that cw!!!!!!! Thanks for posting!!! I hadn't seen that one. I tried on the ardoise/kaki/Gris bleu cw and I didn't think it worked for me. Although I love the ardoise border and the Gris bleu...the kaki part I wasn't loving on me.. Here's a spy mod pic ;).

Thanks for the pic. I'm sorry the khaki didn't work on you coz it's

Here's my Echec Au Roi in the blanc/Gris/rouge cw (I think - unfortunately, SA removed the tag)...

Effortlessly chic on you jp (and I would hate it if my SA were to do that (I stick them on my boxes)

Hello! I have finally joined the H scarf club!! I believe this is from the Spring 2013 collection...Ors Bleus d'Afrique and I think it is CW15 (if I am reading the ref # correctly). I am new at this so please excuse me if I get something wrong, I am in awe of all your ladies knowledge!! :worthy:

I have been stalking H.com as I don't live near an H boutique. This one grabbed me because my mom is from South Africa. I already have a shawl on the way, Pique Fleuri de Provence CW12, so I can tell this is going to be a new addiction!! :cray:

Congratulations on you beautiful OBd'A, and welcome Texas :yahoo:

There's always a first but never a last ;)

Just got the Promenade au Faubourg in b&w&red today. I just took it out of the box and threw it on a b&w shirt with a very small houndstooth pattern. Seemed to work out ok. It's a bigger pattern than Ors bleus d'Afrique in b&w so it "fights" b&w jackets with their own bold patterns.

Looks good to me, I think it will work very elegantly with solids too, with a monochrome outfit it will be a 'killer'

I literally gasped when I saw this picture, eagle1002us! Thank you for sharing this, I couldn't imagine how this design would tie and I am LOVING it! I will try to play with this one, the B&W Ors and the B&W Casques et Plumets from FW because I am now convinced I need a b&w scarf. :smile1:

Congrats eagle love this! I'm on a train to NYC and hoping to score one of these this weekend in the burgundy cw.

Thank you, INeedaThread, Kitty Hawk, BridesdeGala, Mindi B, and Cosmopolitan for your warm and wonderful remarks about my pairing of Promenade au Faubourg with a b&w checked scarf. This has been a great season to play around with patterns!

I would love to see what this pattern looks like IRL in burgundy, Cosmopolitan! We're getting back to the 80s with the color burgundy instead of the naughties aubergine but I'll take dark red any way I can get it!

The Promenade cw that has a muted sage green background looks retro 70s and really interested to see how that might coordinate with some of the muddy greens I love.

Hermes Nuttynut, that was a real score to get that Ors Afrique in Klein blue. Have not seen that cw yet IRL. I am sure that if we were in the boutique at the same time, we'd be fighting over it! (can't resist say that the manager might offer to resolve this scenario by helpfully offering to cut the scarf in half :smile1:).

I got it from H.com on the US site. It's just a click away!! :graucho:
