Are you guys saying you love the bags with pills all over them? I don't know. Not my taste. What message do you think they are trying to convey with those?

Boring. Ridiculously overpriced but I think most luxury handbags are anyhow. If I'm paying $5400 for a leather tote, it needs to come with 5k cash in it.
Its is Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's lie for Barneys. I cannot make my mind about them. The design nor the price, neither thrills me...What is your take on them?
I guess the joke is on anyone who actually buys one of their bags

Ooh the day tote is the one I want too. I can't stop thinking about it. Which colour do you have? Have you got any pics?Oh, I don't know... I actually own one of their bags (the Day Luxe Tote) and I think it's pretty close to perfect for me. I own Hermes, Bottega Veneta, Celine and Valextra so, I admit I am one of those who will drop $$$ on a bag.
I like that the Day Luxe Tote is plain/minimalist and that it is stolidly under the radar; it fits my personality. It is the perfect size for me -- the Birkin 30 is too small to carry my papers and folders while the Birkin 35 is a tad too wide so that it sticks out. It has the right amount of structure -- BV is too slouchy. I like that it can be zipped closed and that the shoulder strap doesn't get in the way. The materials are really good. It has withstood daily subway commute fully loaded beautifully. I do wish the interior finishing is better, but it has held up well so besides those aesthetics, I have no other complaints.

Ooh which have you got? Have seen them too and can't forget them. I really need to get one xx a million. I own two of their bags, guess I'm twice a fool.
I'll agree that the price is super high but I think that most people who are saying such nasty things about the bags and the people who own them have never actually seen these bags in person. they have never actually seen the quality of the leather and the craftsmanship firsthand and are judging based on pictures alone.

Nice! I have looked at both and I think I prefer the horizontal tote. I liked the vertical but I lose my bits at the bottom of bags that shape. They are beautiful and need to be seen to be appreciated.I also have the regular, horizontal day luxe tote and then I have one of the plain black backpacks. I never thought I'd actually wear it as a backpack as it looks nice as a shoulder bag, but I like the backpack option actually. it tends to be my sightseeing bag when traveling because it can pack flat and is light and easy.
as for the day luxe tote, I totally love it but I will admit to being bummed that the next season they did it in a vertical version, which I much, much prefer. but I couldn't bring myself to spend the $$ again on such a similar bag.
