Ah, you're right. I wonder don't use serial numbers etc. given the popularity of their bags in the counterfeit market...
Thanks for your tips! I'm currently in LA and will probably drop by their boutique to see if they'd help or try to find in-person authentication services. Fingers crossed I can get it authenticated!
Btw, here is the bag!

I've owned half a dozen or so bags from The Row. The Double Circle bag is from a time when the brand (and their bags) were very IYKYK. The copies began popping up about 2 years ago and started with the North South Park Tote and the Les Bains Bag being the most popular dupes on the market. Now there are also many inauthentic Banana bags on Poshmark.

I owned a leather Backpack 11 from the same period as your bag. The Backpack 11 has the same feet and exterior embossing (on the side, along the seam, near the bottom). The circle TR logo was their original embossed on bags before they shifted to The Row full brand name (and it seems that they've fully retired the circle logo, which is a shame because I always found it to be so chic).

I'm fairly confident in the authenticity of your Double Circle Bag.

Thanks so much for your response! I really appreciate it
I've been eyeing this bag for so many years now and always regretted not getting it when it was available, so I'm so happy it's finally mine!

I need help
I’m actually debating about selling one of my LV bags (the Carryall MM) to fund a Medium Park Tote. I really love the simple shape! But I’m quite unsure, if it’s worth it. Cannot afford to buy / keep both bags at the moment. Do you guys think The Row can compare to LV in quality?
Any thoughts would be appreciated, TIA :flowers:

My last LV bag was 5+ years ago and I definitely noticed that the quality was not "all that." I haven't owned a Row bag (yet) but I have examined a couple of models rather closely and the leather and workmanship seem top notch for the price point and yes superior to LV. But if resale factors into your purchase decision, you are probably better off with LV or another brand popular on the resale sites that hold their value better.

Also I‘m not sure if The Row is just „trendy right now“ or if it is a brand that will last for years and decades to come….
Their timeless aesthetic won't go out of style, no matter what trends come and go. The quality workmanship, understated minimalist designs are selling points to me. And totally agree with @bagnut1 that LV quality pales in comparison to The Row. Also, if you have any doubts, look up earlier Row runway shows compared to recent ones and you'll see that their older designs work beautifully with their latest designs. A hallmark of a brand that has longevity in mind.

I second this, the Row was being quietly worn by celebs in the know since the brand first launched. Trendy isn’t a word I’d equate with this label.

So the bag was delivered today! I have to say the leather, the smell and the craftmanship are beyond anything!
BUT: For my taste the medium is too small, I should have gone with the large one….
So the beauty is going back and I have to decide whether it is worth to spend much more money for the large one as the price jump is enormous….
If you're already a customer, it won't help, but.... sites like 24S and Bergdorfs offer a big discount for first time customers. A good way to pick up some pricier items that won't otherwise go on sale. I did that for some of my Row pieces and really stocked up! The large tote is so gorgeous. Hope it works out!

Hi, do you use any products to care for the leather? I’m contemplating whether or not to keep the Park leather textured tote which feels really soft and buttery.
I use Collonil Organic cream with macadamia oil on my TR bags, but only as required. The Row leathers seem to like it.
It’s a very light treatment but quite intensive and doesn’t change the appearance or feel of the leather other than to smooth it out and give it back some *oomph*
