Hi,
No I don’t find my Mail bag heavy at all, the opposite actually. There’s no surplus leather or hardware and it’s a great size for my essentials plus one or two extras.

Bear in mind that I happily carry anything from Prada nylon to suede totes, so bag weight isn’t my primary concern, but I still consider it to be a reasonably light weight bag.

Overall I’m really happy with it. Initially I wanted the smooth leather with gold HW but this one has worked out perfectly for me.

Hi! I am new to The Row. I've never actually seen one of their bags in person before. I'm interested in the Ascot Bag. Curious about the magnetic closure, or is it a snap? How secure is it? I know there are a few sizes I'm looking at the small one. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Our friend @muchstuff had one in her hot little hands for awhile I believe she can add her insight to the Ascot bag style.

We’ve discussed it but were hoping for comments from someone who actually has carried the style. I wish I had been less hasty and had examined it better. My take away was of a bag that wasn’t very secure as it has only a magnetic closure and not enough depth for a bag that is essentially a gathered up square. But it was quite popular so I’m wondering if I missed something. The larger size felt much more secure and has a centre zipped compartment. Maybe I had too much in the smaller size? I loved the look of it!

Hi, a longtime lurker here :) would that be ok if I jump on this thread even though it's been a few months since the last post - I've also been eyeing The Row Mail small bag, I think it's absolutely stunning and I love how understated it is but I'm very curious about how it wears. I don't live in US and have no opportunity to check out the bag in person and I cant seem to find any real feedback or review either, just TPF. For those that have been wearing this bag a while, could I please get your opinions? Also, there are no grommets used for the strap, do the holes stretch? Thanks in advance for any feedback

I cannot stop thinking about this navy blue medium sized tote! It has a top zipper closure and the interior has a side pocket and 2 open slip pockets.

I was actually waiting patiently for the 36 cm Hermes Double Sens in blue nuit. But now I think The Row tote will better suit my needs because of the zipper closure and side pocket.

What do you think? The Row Medium tote or Hermes Double Sens 36cm?

I'm late to respond, but I hope you decided on The Row ... I've read a number of times that their leather is comparable to Hermes. What did you decide on?

@bagaholic1 I went with the Bindle 3 - love this bag; It is a much better "version" of the Bottega Veneta Cervo Hobo from 'back in the day', which I was also crazy for. I like the B3 better because it is lightweight and has a flat bottom. But I digress...
