Edit: Just looked back through the thread and saw it is an Oyster BV hobo that was posted for reference. Oops...
I am so glad you clarified that. I don't mind different brands copying basic styles of others, it has been that way since time began. But as a retired attorney I was ready to say this might call for legal action, lol.Yup.
And again the BV steals the limelight. Those darn oyster hobos are too gorgeous.
Found another Ascot bag on TRR but this one has the suede lining that I was looking for. It also has a centre and a side zipped pocket so will be a lot more secure. I'm hoping it's a little bigger too but the measurements on these bags are all weird. Will report back when she gets here!

The one I bought and returned was the same as this but without the suede lining and pockets. Essentially a big piece of leather gathered up with a magnet closure. It didn’t feel very safe to me. I don’t know enough about The Row to know what year specific bags were produced.
I bought a park tote in red on Dec 2019. It was a “bargain” at less than $600 in excellent condition. I Love love love it. The quality is amazing and it’s so comfortable. I decided I needed another one in a different color even if I had to pay full price for it. Then the pandemic hit and I lost all interest in purses (I was/am WFH in a company that reduced its workforce by 30% because of the pandemic). But as things are slowly going back to normal and who knows! maybe we get to travel this year, my love for bags is coming back. So I went to their website and now I’m looking at the N/W park tote. Any one has it or has seen it in real life? I also noticed the “everyday shoulder bag” which looks a lot like the Veneta from BV and it was one of my favorite styles.
Did anyone else get this? They already have some Row stuff on at 50% off, I guess tomorrow it goes lower?

Gahhhh, what a hot mess. TRR basically shoved the bag into a too small dust bag, into a box, no paper around it, nothing. The bag, listed as being "very good, light wear throughout" was actually heavily used with damage. So back it goes, CS was very helpful and I had no problem sending it back, they even paid the postage from Canada.
What I did glean from it while I had it is that it's much bigger than the one without the suede lining. Like twice the size. Scads of room inside and made of that ultra-smooth nappa The Row does so well. I'm still very tempted to find one in good condition, the smaller size is has no secure zipped compartment and a satin lining, which makes the larger one a bit more attractive to me. But I don't know...
