you are not alone; i had a bad experience with trr. they promise you the world and then don't deliver in the least. they also cycle through staff like crazy, which makes me think the company is just a mess

Sadly that is completely consistent with my most recent experiences with them. For several years they were my go-to for rehoming bags and shoes. Then partway through the pandemic their operations seemed to fall apart. I had bags that were terribly mispriced, badly photographed, and inexplicably never appeared for sale. Those that I asked to be returned took forever to get back and were horribly packed. Several pairs of Prada and Gucci shoes were rejected because of too much “wear” (baloney, especially since my rep reviewed and collected them herself) and were then returned with all of the sole logos either broken in half or torn off.
I’ve completely lost track of how many new “luxury managers” have contacted me since my last consignment over a year ago, announcing they are my new POC and pleading to come over and help me clean out my closet.

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences. I was going to consign one of my bags a couple of mo this ago and decided against it, I’m glad I did!
I have said this before, but IMO TRR isn't for anything you ever want to see again. If I'd be happy donating it, but it's a designer name, then it goes to them.
All those bags on display? Do they even do buyout? If not , every single one is someone's consigned property.
